Unfortunetly I don't like summer. To hot for me. I do like all the pretty flowers and the delicious fruit there is to eat in the summer. Watermelon, cantaloupe, strawberries, blueberries. I'm sure there are more but these are my favorite. Its a warm day here. It's 88F and feels like 92F. I can do without that humidity. I've only been out once today and that was to take out the trash. I won't be on here tomorrow as we are going to Amarillo Texas, that is a 3 hour trip, one way, my husband has a appoinment to see his diabetic doctor. He is scheduled to see her in August, but since he was in the hospital on June 6th to the 11th do to Diabetic Ketoacidosis and she never called him, he decided to get a appoinment to see her. Hello i hope everything goes well hot day here im not a fan of summer its been 90 here and no air conditioning in apt the landlord doesn't provide air conditioning i found out i have to provide my own so im using those plug in coolers helps some but need one for kitchen hopefully soon have a good day huggs
we had a nice visit with my step daughter, she's on her back home to OK now...her hubby didn't get to come with her this trip. Today is the longest day and shortest night of the year, it's all down hill to fall starting tomorrow! LOL!
It has felt like summer here for awhile but its offical today besides being Father's day.
Yesterday was mowing day and that takes a good while to get done but it seems so nice to have that marked off the list!
My daughter and family left for Myrtle beach Friday so that means I have farm duty until tomorrow when they get back home. They have a little horse, calf, 2 goats, 2 dogs, a cat and 2 kitties and a whole coop full of chickens! Besides watering the garden so it's been a busy weekend. I am glad they were able to get away and the boys are having the best time in the ocean. Dylan has to call or face time each night. So sweet!
