Firework free for now..they went off till after midnight Sat am. Temps have cooled down from the tropical system. It's shifted NE of us. Of course, we'll heat back up tomorrow to the high 90's. One day closer to Fall.
we got rain this morning, the same system that brought the catastrophic flooding in Kerr County and the part of Texas known as the Hill country. So many people, adults as well as children have lost their lives during the severe rains and flooding, even away from the camps, there were homes swept off they foundations, cars with people in them trying to evacuate...it's a sad time here for us Texans. If you are a praying person, please lift one up, (or a few) if not, just send out positive thoughts...thank you
