And then comes gratitude. For the life that is. For what came true and for what didn't. For loved ones, for friends, for opportunities. And for impossibilities too. For those who have gone and for those who have been found. For the city where I am at home, and for all the cities where it is so cozy to be a guest. For the things that have been done and for what is yet to come. For new beginnings. For the landscapes outside the train windows. For fellow travelers. And for myself. That I don't give up. That I notice.
Well, I retired over 10 years ago. Then I started working part time. This will be the 4th time that I work "almost" full time until a replacement can be found. 2 years ago, the person that Kelly hired said she would stay 4 years or more and would never move to be closer to her children. She made it 2 years and is moving. So next month, I will be working about 14 of the 22 days. Wish me luck. It takes months for Edward Jones to hire and train.
Caturday is here and the weekend has begun! Does your day start differently on the weekends?
Coffee is always ready by 6 am every day of the week at our home. Unless I forget to get it ready the night before.
We rarely leave the house on weekends just because the traffic is 3 times as bad. I know dogs get excited when they get to go on a trip in the car. Do cats get excited to go for a ride?
We only have dogs and they love to play together in between naps. Our dogs like it when other dogs visit too. It looks like this cat wants someone to play with.
After all, weekends are always more fun when you have someone to play with.
