Sure bothers me when those "professionals" don't clean up. Go figure. Storms coming soon. Not quite as warm as yesterday. Just a little more humid.

Hello, dear friend

yes, I burned both my hands with boiling soup.

I was heating up some soup in the microwave, but when I took the container out, it slipped out of my hands.

I had a really bad reaction!! I tried to catch it...and got second-degree burns on both my hands.

It's healing well, but even though there are no more blistersat on  some places,, it still burns.

The doctor says it's normal: the nerves were on edge and still react to the slightest touch or heat.

It's a real problem when I wash or prepare something to eat....

I have to wear gloves to get washed ,or to go near a heat source.

According to the doctor, it will take time to truly heal...

However, the skin is well on its way to healing...
but it will take time!!!... 

And besides, I don't have much patience left...it's going to be hard!!!...Grrr

Now, I can already type a little on my keyboard: I no longer have Velcro strips all around my hands!!
I have a few fingers free...

I want to sincerely thank all my dear friends who prayed for me,  and sent me messages of encouragement.

Thankful Thursday is here again and I don't have enough fingers and toes to count all the things I am thankful for.  

Just look up at the sky!  Have you seen a Hawk or a Bald Eagle lately?  Last week we had Turkey Buzzards on our neighbors roof sunning themselves.  

We are thankful for all of God's creatures, especially our three dogs who greet us each time we walk in the door.  

However, I don't want to see a Rhino charging toward me.  I like seeing them in the zoo though.  

Now Zebras on the other hand are often seen alongside Giraffes.  You know how I feel about Giraffes.  The other reason I like Zebras is because it is one of my Hubby's favorite animals.  

So I hope you will look around you today and smile at some of God's creations.  What is your favorite?  Blessings & Hugs!   

Good Evening you sweet friends! It sprinkled here for just a few minutes. Rain is needed.70 degrees here at the moment. Had a N.P. come today. Ask silly questions!! He was so nice. Broke my tooth off, last evening! Dentist appointment on Monday evening! Everyday, I think to my self, "Shirley, you are blessed!" Have a good evening or day, depending where you are in this world! Middle of the week is here!  Woo Hoo!  We are halfway through this week.  

I am hungry this morning!  It was a long night with storms.  I can't wait to see how much rain we got.  I am sure glad we got the yard mowed yesterday.  

I think I need another cup of coffee to make it to the end of the day!  

I am anxious for the sun to come up and to get outside and see if the flowers are still blooming and friends all made it without any damage.

I love Taco Tuesday.  It means we get to run errands and have a great meal at almost half price.  

And after all the rain we have had the grass and the trees are such beautiful shades of so many different green colors.  

The other thing I like about Tuesday is getting out to see lots of people in the stores.  I hope my light shines brightly and they see my smile is meant for them.  

Share your smile today with all those you meet.  It will make their day better too.  

I love the journey that I am on and the friends that I meet along the way.  

If your attitude is like that then others will follow your example and you can brighten someone's day.
