Old rock, specifically Allman Brothers, Led Zeppelin, and the Beatles, classical, bluegrass (Doc Watson), blues (even the Eric Clapton versions), and some alternative. I have recently added a few RAP "tunes" to my like list even though I can't understand most of the words. And lets not leave off Van Morrison and his Moondance!

Stephen King is a favorite. Also enjoyed To Kill a Mockingbird, The Awakening, and Chaucer's Canterbury Tales.

Been there, done that....twice!! I started out as Rockin' Robin and hope to become one of those cool grannies some day. I have 4 children who continue to keep me on my toes....three daughters and one son. I'm one of those old ladies who went back to college at a relatively mature age to become a teacher. I worked as a Middle School librarian for four years while I worked on my Master's in Counseling. I'm now working as a Middle School guidance counselor. I would love to thank my kids for preparing me for this job!!! My passion is photography and I have been "shooting" around for about 30 years. I have a kitty, Maggie, who seems to have lived forever, a beta named Bertha (scratch that, Bertha had a burial at sea on July 4....fireworks accident), and an African Grey Timney who is a little over a year old now. He keeps me entertained with all the wild things he says. His name is Atticus (Parrot, not to be confused with Finch). I love my job, enjoy my family and treasure my friends and those whom my children have brought into my life. I've got a great husband (third times the charm) and two great stepsons. I am a step-grandma, but it's not really the same as a real one as I came into this family a little late in the game. However it's never to late to begin an adventure.
