I most enjoy comedy and action movies. My all time favorite is "TRUE LIES" because it has a little of everything...intrigue, romance, comedy, and action. I also like all of the Matrix movies, Harry Potter movies, Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants, The Notebook, Indiana Jones series... so many.

I like most types of music, but what I listen to depends on my mood at the time. My favorites are rock, both classic and contemporary, country, pop, and blues.

I have read and enjoyed many authors. I recently read The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle, and am currently reading The Lost Star of Myth & Time by Walter Cruttenden. At times I'll read novels, but if I'm not learning something, I sometimes feel that I'm waisting my time...

I work two jobs, so I don't have a lot of extra time for hobbies. When I do have time, I like to crochet, read, tinker with the guitar (still can't play), and write poetry or work on my book that is making great progress in my mind, but not on paper.

Single, White, Female, in between mother and grandmother, healthy, happy; love life, reading, writing, exercising, meditating, music, learning to play the guitar; have two grown kids who are awesome.
I sang in the school and church choir in Junior High, High School, and my first semester of college. Originally I majored in Vocal Music with a minor in Speech Pathology. I sang in church most of my life, but now I only sing with my radio when I'm all alone. I was a contestant in the Miss New Mexico Junior College Pageant ~ 7 contestants, 5 places...guess who didn't place??? ;) How funny, but it was fun. A few months later I was asked to represent my home town in the Miss New Mexico Universe Pageant. I didn't place in that one either, but it was a much bigger event and there were many more contestants, so I didn't feel so conspicuous. I was the very first uniformed female police officer in my hometown and only the second a year and a half later in a neighboring town. I graduated 7th out of a class of 38 in the state wide police academy ~ I was the only woman. My time in Law Enforcement is something I'm very proud of ~ It was by no means easy but I feel that I had a part in opening the door for women in previously male dominated fields ~ that I helped to crack that glass ceiling for woman...a trend setter of sorts. I've had a number of 'careers' including but not limited to paralegal, medical transcriptionist, full charge bookkeeper, executive secretary, editor, TV talk show host, chauffeur, housekeeper, wife, mother. My greatest achievements, however, are the two loves of my life. I'm so proud of the people they have become. Although not perfect (just like their mother), they have followed, and are following their own path with as much dignity, integrity, compassion, and ingenuity that is within their power. I feel that they are an asset to society today, which is all I can ask for?

Rude, hateful, and demanding people. You know the kind... they think they know everything and impose that attitude on everyone they encounter. Shees, get a life!
