"Faerie Dance..." I've seen the Faerie dance by candlelight's flicker. Gossamer wisps of shadow's flight moving soundlessly this night. Hither and yon - softly aglow to music I might never know. Voice just naturally hushed, breath held tight - so as not to disturb nor halt the step of gentle thought - the Faerie's flight. Around and round and around still more rising lightly, falling sure - only to slow til a single sight. A gentle fragment - yet unbroken light, the following eyes mistfully adore touched by the touching - full with the nothing, the mind adrift in soft pixie glow. The show but a moment's reverie, a simple lifetime's eternity - knowing it never was, nor were, nor will... still - I saw the Faerie dance. Chris

Soft and sweet a stupid silly beat a 'vanilla' crossing and then... and THEN...
The world paused and LIFE began
"Cry me a river..." Let those teardrops fall and wash all my dark away. The mood - fire and n'ice - the night HEAT burning, a fever forming driplets of sweat keeping time to the rising Sax and rasping tones Floating and flowing following the ups - cloud high, til diving for the downs feeling the air passing falling sinking farther and further each beat reaching reaching so far within the sound sounds finding each measure each treasure each moment and knowing the rise is there beckoning taking me away then back over and over still - til the dawn. "Bring IT" - more MORE YES that's IT right there now hold HOLD IT - don't let it go keep me here hold me here fill the wings let the echoes carry... sweet SWEET music. Chris

Can I pause within your dreams and gently nibble your fingertips? Perhaps leave butterfly kisses in soft yet gentle places...
"Beyond The Moonlight..."
Would you melt to an intent and perhaps rise as the thermal grew...
I could soooooo softly just... touch... you.

"Under The Mistletoe..."
Day-dreams, and nightdreams - soft wishes and remembered kisses, moments held tenderly so deep inside.
I looked in your eyes and saw my stars. Each time I touched your hand I understood what love is...
Now I gaze through silent eves touch a picture here and there and let solitary tears fall as they will.
I wish... I wish I may - wish I might... at all the stars in the skies tonight just a single one single - more kiss... goodnight.

"A Reflection..."
Is it that people lie to us or that we lie to ourselves in a conscious effort to fit in with what we think we value til we learn what it IS we value and what is dust to be swept aside. There are mirrors everywhere and some show what we WANT to see while others - though not many, actually reflect what is looking in.

"A Monday's Pause..."
So many will never know whom I was...
And yet we shared the sun and the night and dreams - so very many soft dreams...
We walked our paths as only we could and found - our meaning.

"In Defense Of Snail Mail..." Winter's rain has faded again from morning's memory and eves delight - leaving... Tincture of essence sky as even Canadian Geese float by on their ways to places - I won't go anymore ...and know it. Echoes of hope:
Cars rising and sounding - our 'whales' swimming the concrete-flavored asphalt on their way, always on THEIR way WAY to wherever cars actually go...
and people - looking though eyes are closed listening but not hearing speaking but not talking...
People passing and passed everyday
My silent tears flowing to mark their 'ways' ...to have been but not BE is many a lifetimes' weakness and a sad commentary. Yesterday time had a capitol 'T' and MEANING and GUTS. It took effort to reach OUT beyond your fingertips beyond any 'comfort zone' beyond a real - horizon.
Yesterday took THOUGHT and caring and real giving of YOURSELF and holds scraps of evidence of YOU to mark the passing.
You and I would await - await while breathing softly or hardly, quietly or hope-fully wishing beyond the nows to tomorrows possibiles and the taste of dreams. ...and today
I shape the light; bend it, form it, position it, TOUCH it - but... I can't hold it can't FEEL it - or it's lips or even fingertips so softly in mine... and the LIGHT is but a DARKNESS away. Chris
