Hi Beth! Yes, Florida has seen its share of hurricanes! I have friends that live in Lakeland and they have been very blessed to avoid any serious damage from the storms, but I also have friends in Punta Gorda and oh my goodness...they always get hit very bad. Lol, I asked them why live on the coast and they said it's worth it. SMH lol!

Hurricane Michael was the name and we had to replace our roof after. It's a warm afternoon here. It's 90F. To warm for me. Just have the ceiling fans going. I hope you are having a good afternoon. I've been busy as usual. I'm ready for a nap. It will be a short one but better than none. Have you seen the picture I posted in my photos of the crocheted dog? My daugher in law crocheted it. It's a replica of my little dog that passed away 8 years ago. They gave it to me for Mother's Day. She did a really good job. The picture next to it is my favorite picture of Bandit. Sunny skies here finally..but just had a quick rain shower pass over a few minutes ago. Not looking forward to the heatwave coming. Not ready for an early summer. I had a dear friend pass away last night..she struggled thru so much sickness over the last 5 months. We met at work in 1989. I will surely miss her. She had just turned 78 in March. Please say a special prayer for her family. (Sylvia)
