How Did You Like My Book?.
Posted On 07/20/2007 04:04:04
I want to get together a few comments from those of you who have read the "Trout Falls Chronicles" and asking you to do a quick, concise review of my book. I say this remembering an old adage of mine. "Don't ask a question you don't want to hear the answer to". lol

With that said, I need a hand to display some comments with book selling. Thanks. and keep smiling.. Easy

Summer Weekends....
Posted On 07/20/2007 02:02:09
I took my ATV to Republic yesterday to get some gas, worms and much needed supplies. I was within a half mile of town when 'Blue' coughed, wheezed and came to a stop by the boat launching area for the weekend fishing derby. I was a day early for fishing but on time for stupid and had run out of gas. I barely had time to get angry at myself when Charlie came by and stopped to see what was up. I noticed a gas can in the back of his truck and didn't get mad after all. He filled my tank and wouldn't take any money and that is why I love living in Republic. We help each other when we can. I got my supplies and more gas and was back working my way down the county road, speeding past the Grant place that reminds me of the White House in Washington. The pavement gave way to gravel and I left a trail behind me in dust and it was like leaving one world and entering another. It felt different this time not having my sweet Gracie driving and I passed by new pretty flowers that I would have made her stop for me to pick and give to her. I always get that smile when I do it and will never stop because that smile is good for both of us. Not this trip though and I slowed down to cross the small wooden bridge, turned the next corner and nestled myself off the road and into the woods a bit not far from the little Michigan River. My shoulders were sore from the ride and I exhaled all the rest of life and readied my gear for another run at those Brookies. If I listen real close, I can barely hear the running of water....

Five hours later, I came out of the woods near the ATV, plumb tired and my creel full of Brookies and the skies were grey after raining most of the afternoon. It was a difficult jump from rock to rock and I was satisfied that I had not fallen once. This is the same guy who spills half he touches and I don't know why I have mental discipline only some times. I packed away my gear and noticed that I didn't have a yearly permit sticker for 07 on my Suzuki and I said, 'oh no'. It would be a hefty fine if I was stopped by the DNR and I'd already paid those boys enough in fines but I won't get into that again. It still makes me angry thinking of it....

My happiness was dampered more then the rain on the way home hoping not to see those dark green trucks that looked like police cars. I wondered about trying to bribe them with a bunch of nice trout but I could see that phone call I would have to make to Janet, "Hey. Honey. I'm in jail. Bribed a cop with brookies". Of course, I wouldn't do that but the older I get the more my brain confuses me. Then, I go on to confuse others because I am confused. Oh yes, it tis a vicious circle but one that I will never get lost in.....

I arrived home safely and worried for nothing concerning my dire straits. I turned on the computer and it took forever to pull up my yahoo and the score of the Tiger game that was played while I was fishing. They won in 10 innings. Waiting for it to come on, I cleaned and battered the trout, turned the oven to 350 and after the red light went off, I set them inside to cook. It was a free meal and a dandy one to boot....

Something has gone wrong real quickly with this beige monster on my table. And the one who can help me is 361 miles away. And it is her birthday today too. Happy Birthday honey!! I'll IM you as soon as it lets me, ok?

I took a minute to call her. Wish her a happy birthday!! What a sweet lady she is. I have 12 minutes left on my trac fone and my new Verizon which Janet worked hard to get, is in the mail from Chicago. Our conversation was short and sweet for now. I've put in the freezer the first pints of fresh rasberries I picked the other night and we'll have them with short cake and whipped cream, when were together again.....

I hear this Beckham guy has signed with the LA soccer team for 250 million/ 5 years. His wife, posh or slish is one of those splice girls I don't know anything about either. I do know money and after hearing this guy referred to on NPR this morning as "hot and drop dead gorgous", yech, this will be a media story we better get used to. Remember when Anna Nicole died? Well, this will be worse. And here's the kicker, pun intended, he has a sprained ankle and won't play in the teams first game. I wouldn't trade my humble life for his for all the money in the world. I've already scored most of my goals....

A happy Friday and weekend too. A busy day for me Saturday hawking my book with 18 other authors. Thinking about having a raffle and the winner gets to go trout fishing with me. They must buy a book to be eligable. My editor is checking on the legality of that today, on her birthday....

Enjoy this slice of summer weekends. Pray for those hurting this weekend. Pray for our soldiers and Marines. Pray for peace. Easy...

Lazy Summer Days...
Posted On 07/18/2007 06:24:18
Burner and Ticky stopped by to pick up the trolling motor, the battery and the net too. I asked them if they wanted me to dig some worms too and they didn't know whether to grin or be humbled. We played Crib while they offered their plan A for winning the $1000 Walleye first prize. They say they are going to get up at the break of dawn and hit the fishing hard. Hard is lazy fishing under a spot in the shade that they have figured out by saying, "The sun comes up in the East"....

I'm crafting my second book around the scene of the fishing derby which allows me to write fiction in a real time scenario. This book will be unlike my first book in the respect it won't be a bunch of short stories wound into one large theme but a week end fishing in Trout Falls type of book. I'm running it by my editor but she is a tough nut to crack. Wants me to make changes. Yikes....

I think my time here will be numbered and after the book signing I probably should start thinking of heading south again. I talked to my Dad this morning and he said he was 'pooped out'. I guess. I can't imagine what he is going through. The sympathy pains hurt real hard where I'm sitting right now. It's even tougher going through this alone and not with the support from Janet. After being alone for so long, I look around and think it is to be enjoyed together after all. I'll get home soon enough and that will be right on time....

I miss us sitting with coffee and watching Chicago go by our window. I entered her house as a guest and kind of never left. I can almost navigate the fridge, the tool closet is off limits and why would I want to go in there anyway. I miss sitting on the back deck and planning what we will do to the yard this fall to get it right for next spring. We plan to put in a vegetable garden and do some arm chair landscaping. I have no fear of critters getting at our garden with Pipppen and his sniffer around. It's fun planning in the long term again...

Have a good evening. I'm going to sit on the edge of the swamp again and get up close with any critter who comes loafing by....

keep smiling, Easy

Odd and Ends....
Posted On 07/17/2007 12:37:58
I spent some time yesteerday with my Uncle Jim who is my Dads brother and we had a nice visit. I filled him in with the latest on my Dads condiition and he told me some funny stories about him and our family. My Dad is still in intensive care, in a lot of pain and on some heavy meds. We are hoping he can get strong enough to start some physical therapy but we are taking it one day at a time while praying for Gods will...

You have to line up to be called James in our family. The first James Plankey died just after WW1 and my Uncle Jim is 74 now, my brother Jim is 57 and his son James is 33. Now that's a James Gang. I even wrote a story in my book called 'The 3 Belfors' which is about 3 brothers who were funny, funnier and funniest. It is a toss up as to who is funnier when it comes to my brother Jim or my Uncle Jim. My uncle Jim was teary eyed talking of his brother and I've noticed that he is slowing down too. Time goes on, new babies are born and the old timers fade away.....

I feel tired this morning after a long day getting my book in a few stores and shops. Word around Republic is that some guy wants to build Condo's on a nearby Lake and I can see how this is going to play out. The city comes to the country and brings its city ways. Not that this is bad but it does bristle the folks around here because they hate to see progress come to Upper Michigan. My gut feeling is there will be no condo's built but I have been wrong before. It is impossible to stop progress but we try our hardest to slow it down some......

I miss Chicago and my city life. Taking a bath at the culvert is a long way from hot water and a shower. I don't mind it so much and at one time thought it was pretty cool. Now, I've tasted better and it isn't so bad. I miss my sweet Gracie, Iri and Pippen too. It is Janet's birthday on the 20th and don't forget to wish her well that day. She is my life and my love and I count the days until we are together again.....

Saturday and Sunday is the fishing derby in Republic and it is a big deal for the town in a monetery kind of way. The first prize for the biggest walleye caught is $1,000. It is held on a stretch of the Michigamme River that flows through town and under the Kloman bridge. Burner and Ticky borrowed my trolling motor and I wish I was going out with them on Saturday but it is my book signing day in Ishpeming. I'm sure these two yardbirds will regale me on the fish they didn't catch. All I want to see is them bring my motor back in one piece and maybe a walleye filet or two......

Well, it's time to clean up the water I spilled in the fridge. My brats may be a bit soggy for lunch. The place looks great with a woman's touch now. I'm getting right domesticated if I must say. Excuse me, have you seen my Grey Poupon?????

Have a great Tuesday and keep smiling...Easy

Amazing Gracie...
Posted On 07/14/2007 03:02:36
It rained all night and it had a soothing effect. I slept in until 9 and I'm sure my critters wondered where I was as they prepared for breakfast on me. Yesterday was quite a day being alone here and my Dad facing surgery down in Ann Arbor and it was one of those 'going through the motions' kind of day. It is to be expected with such a tramatic time because my Father is a good man, loved by most and the rest haven't met him but would too. His two sisters from nearby Champion took the red eye down to Detroit to be there and Kris is at the Hodag country music fest at Rhinelander, Wi. but still finds time a couple times a day to check in on how he is doing. I was sitting here at my desk yesterday afternoon waiting for the news with the window open and I heard 'Amazing Grace' being played on a trumpet. I thought I was in heaven for a minute and looked at the time and it was 5:23. I'm going to check with my Mom to see when surgery was over. I thought of saved by Grace and all that is good about my life today and it put me into a special place. A place at peace after a tough day letting the flesh get the best of me and conjuring up thoughts of the worst. How would Mom get by without Dad? How would any of us go on without him? And then, I hear that soft melody of notes floating in a soft breeze of overcast skies that leave the lake looking a pale grey and I once was lost but now I have been found....

Janet bought me a collectors edition of the old 'Spin and Marty' series that ran on Disney back in the late 50's and we watched a few episodes before I left. I was expecting to deluded with memories of the show and expected to feel some of what I felt like when I was 7 or 8. If I was able to give you a thumb nail sketch of me then I would say that I was very insecure and always trying to please with a heavy dose of feling sorry for othors. I loved numbers and stats and that sets me aside from most kids and it's not listed on many kids resume. I remembered Spin but hardly knew Marty. It was way dated and hasn't traveled well as the years have gone by but if you watched it everyday on the 3 mousketeers, you will enjoy it. I give it a 2 yoooper pasty thumbs up....

Let me talk about being between a rock and a hard place. I'm thinking of our soldiers, sailors and Marines in harms way and how this fight must be tearing them up inside. Why doesn't our administration understand this? I see this morning that one soldier is saying he will go to court to not report for his 5th tour in Iraq. The war has only been going for 6. Something is seriously wrong here and I sudder to think what will happen when all these fine young men and woman come back and try to go on with the rest of their lives. And will the VA system be able to handle the influx of patients? I am saddened to think they will not be any more ready then our government was for a post war Iraq....

I want to do things to please Janet. This is never more apparant as I look around the mess I have in the Penthouse Cabin. It wouldn't be this way if she was here so why is it now? I guess it is because I love her. I call it a preempted strike to happiness....

I realize I miss Pippen more then he probably misses me. He listens to me postulate on my own life and he leaps at life like a hound to a rabbit and pushes himself running through the park at top speed for as long as I give him some leash. Then, when we stop at the bench for a break, he sits below my feet and touching my leg with his Kisslike tongue that almost touches the brown dirt at my feet. I scratch him behind the ears softly and tell him I'm going for awhile and to stay after Gracie to take you for a short walk. We have a bond as good as it gets and how good is it when I can get the girl and the dog too?....

This week I am going to take Blue, my dependable ATV, on a day long fishing trip on the Little Michigan where I caught a bunch of brookies and are on my home page for you to see. I'll pack a lunch and only bring the things I can stand losing. In that stretch of river and under the water is 2 pairs of suglasses, 4 lighters, half of a fishing pole and other things I've foregotten I've lost. I'm going to start at dawn and catch my limit, eat them over a campfire and go at it again until dusk. It is my one favorite spot on this earth. It's so far back in the woods it is just me and nature that echo solitude. The sounds are of the water flowing, the birds singing and the swish of the wind through the trees. Come on over. I'll take you there if you like. Oh yah, I'll have to blindfold you on the way. But, you have to drive, ok?

There are certain things that we can count on. Taxes, bad TV sitcoms, Tigers winning the World Series, chocolate chip cookies and milk, a good book and the support and prayers of my boomer friends. I pass on my advice about Cancer to another and it helps her understand her friend with Cancer, you pray for my family and relate stories of your own to understand your own personal struggles and we are for the most part one big happy boomer family. I thank Admin for getting us all together and for that I say thanks in a big way...

Enjoy your Saturday and smiles all around....Easy

Home Alone.....
Posted On 07/13/2007 02:30:17
After an eleven hour hour bus trip....

1. bus was 40 minutes late leaving Chicago.
2. phone went out near Pembine, Wi like clockwork and there goes my link to the world. Hope Billy didn't forget me.
3. three teenagers talked like nonstop and said dawg 112 times and said like like 433 trimes.
5. I handed out two business cards and it always comes after I say "I am an Author". Hope to hear from an aspiring young poet and a studgy old Army guy who was in WW2.
6. Sitting to my left just before we arrived in Iron Mountain was a tall hippie with full beard who was fast asleep covered with a white sheet he'd pulled out of his well worn backpack. He was like looking like dead, dawg. He wasn't but it conjured up unpleasent thoughts in my head. I said a prayer and gathered my stuff as the driver turned on the inside lights and said 'Iron Mountain'. Here we go again....

....I arrived in Iron Mountain at 4:30 A.M. and was most thankful to see Billy waiting outside the Italian bakery that had enough sense to not be up and around yet. I could smell freshly baked bread and somewhere inside a baker was starting his day while I was ending my night. As we headed north towards Island Lake and home, dawn was breaking and I saw a red sky on the horizon, deer were grazing along the side of the road (counted 7) and the air was fresh, clean and real cool. It was great to be back in the U.P. again but it was also bitter sweeet for sure...

My Dad goes in for surgery in a couple hours and our family is holding our collective breath and praying for a good outcome and prognosis. I sit here in an anguised mental limbo trying to stay busy and waiting for a phone call that probably won't come for hours. Behind me is stacked 14 boxes of my book and it's hard to get motivated and it doesn't matter anyway because Burner is gone fishing with Sash for the day. On top of that, the battery is dead on my ATV as the kid who rides a new Harley, my son Kris, left the ignition on....Hello?... You know today is friday the 13th, eh?

It's been a long time since I said goodbye to anyone at the bus station and to have it hurt so much. In a magical way, my sweet Gracie has become part of me and I her. The Penthouse Cabin seems empty and quiet and when I look out the window I miss not seeing Pippen play with the squirrels and deer. I miss Iri sounding like a computer as I walk by his cage. Sometimes in life we have to make choices we don't like but if we don't we become selfish. No one said life would be fun even though it is about half the time. I keep telling myself I have a book to get out and an author's fair the day after Janet's birthday but it still hurts to be away from my best scrabble opponent/sweetie/fiancee. I miss her very much. Have you seen my fiancee? (Seinfeld)..

I hope you all have a great Friday and a better weekend. Be safe and content that you are doing all you can do to make it a good one for others too. Kindness goes a long way. Keep smiling...

Prayers for my Father...
Posted On 07/10/2007 08:53:34
I found out today that my Dad George is having his right leg amputated from the knee down in the next few days. I ask that you keep him and our family in your prayers. He is a tough 'bird' as he would say and is trying to stay positive.

My brother Jim sent a note to the manager of the Detroit Tigers about dad's condition and Jim Leyland sent him a hand written letter wishing him well from all Detroiters and the Tigers baseball team. My dad read it to me on the phone yesterday and I'm not sure who cried more.

I love my dad very much and his time is winding down as he approaches 80 and I thank him and my mom for all the values I have today.

Thanks in advance and keep smiling with a positive attitude, Gene

Our Last Days....
Posted On 07/08/2007 07:59:50
What will you be thinking about in your last days? Will you be content that you have lived a good life and feel confident that after dying you will go to heaven? Or, as a non believer, will it be the total end of life as you know it? If so, does that make you fear death?.....

I ask this because Betty Boop asked us in a bulletin for prayers concerning her friend Cynthia that has had a recurrance of cancer and her future is much in doubt. She messaged me because it is common knowledge that I faced this situation a couple years ago when the Doctor's told my family that I was most likely going to die before the day was over. Of course, I didn't die and my family believes it was a miracle and after being in remission now for over two years I am hard pressed to not be of that opinion also....

The last story in my book, an epilogue, relates what I was feeling on "That Day." I thought I would pass it along to my boomer friends for encouragement, support and understanding......

"That Day"

I have Leukemia and a nurse asked me one day what it felt like and I told her it was Dante’s Inferno with 103 temps and my head feeling like it was going to explode and sizzle like napalm. During these times at home before being diagnosed, I changed tee shirts, pillow cases and sheets full of sweat hourly and had a fan 5 feet from my face blowing Florida hot air at me that fed the fire beast and I went in and out of consciousness and it took me an hour to get out of the bed and make it to the bathroom with every single bone in my body aching. Every bit of energy to fight was gone and my mom told me she saw the devil in my eyes but God was in my heart and God always wins.....

That Day my energy was long gone and I pleaded for a nurse and asked her to call my son Kris before I told her to get the Dr. I thought of that song, ‘White Flag’ (my Mantra), and I couldn’t even lift that flag if I wanted to but I wasn’t giving in but being real. I was ready to die. I believe in God and he will take care of me and White Flag just came on the radio as I sit in remission (since Nov. 05) and believe God played it for me now not so randomly as I struggle to find the right words to describe That Day.

Remission is a relative word and I use it but don’t believe in it much. I’m one 103 temp from it coming back as Cancer floats through my blood and bones in a white blood cell count battle and one computer print out away from disaster. I’ve gone through a steady wave of my transformation with Cancer. The first wave was pity for myself, researching everything about Leukemia, telling everyone I knew I had it. I regret that decision now as I began to detest the sad faces of the sad people who didn’t know what to say and kidded me about my chemo baldness or about the curly hair that came later as opposed to talking about my Cancer itself. It is no ones fault and this happens as many of my friends have told me they didn’t know what to say.....

What I say is, say it. There may be no tomorrow but will be a forever regret to tell a Cancer patient what is really on your mind. Later That Day, my little brother Jimmy came into my room with Kris and my parents and he asked me to sum up my last wishes and funeral arrangements. I love and respect Jimmy and I know how hard that question was to ask and I matter of factly went through my requests with it all ending with a huge party here at the Penthouse Cabin on Island Lake in Upper Michigan. And to remember me and the good times.....

Kris sat at the head of my bed That Day and held my hand and he didn’t say a word but just stared at me and cried softly as he rubbed my hand. Kris is and has always been the President of my fan club and would always tell me it was going to be all right Dad and now he couldn’t say it anymore and I will never forget that look of hopelessness and agony on his face That Day. One by one they came up and held my hand and I prayed for them more then I did myself....I wanted so much for Jeff and Karen to be there too......

My Mom and Dad sat against the wall away from my bed and I guess I had told them to not get too close to me and I think I did that because I didn’t want them to see me up close as I looked so bad that Jimmy had told them not to visit for a day because I was 200 pounds (went in at 130 a week before) pumped with steroids and looked like a bearded old Pillsbury Doughboy. I tried to reassure them and the others who drifted through my room That Day that it would be ok and I was going to a better place and I still believe that. I can’t wait to see my Gramma Katy and I had told a cousin, I think, that I would say hi and give Gramma a hug as she called me ‘pet’. I drifted in and out of conscience less and had a dream that I was in the Pine Grove and it was empty and I sat down and ordered a beer and Paul didn’t recognize me and walked away. He seemed like he was bowling alley length away. Lehaw came in the door and shouted to Paul , ‘Did you hear? Plankey died down in Detroit ’. Whoa. I felt myself and knew I was alive wanting a cold one and I said to Paul , ‘Hey. I’m right here’ but they couldn’t see me or hear me. I think I was with God That Day and we had a talk and He sent me back to try to get this life right. I try very hard every day now to get it right and have this second chance. That Day I could see faces looking back at me and I guess saying goodbye. I walked out of that hospital after 28 days and now I say hello........

JJ and Rose showed up to bestow me Mayor of Island Lake for life and that made me smile. I don’t even remember him being there but remember a plaid blue and black flannel shirt he said he wasn’t wearing. I didn’t know I was now Mayor of Island Lake until the next day when I saw my trophy they had given me on the window sill. JJ and Rose had become close friends in my bad years as a Hermit and I changed my ways because they pushed me not to give up when I had all but done it. They lit a fire under me that hasn’t stopped yet and this simple gesture bonds our friendship.....

After all the words were spoken and last requests were offered and the Kleenex boxes empty and littered everywhere like a blanket of snow (White is what I remember about That Day) the doctors came in waves like on cue with first the Cancer one and I remember seeing him through the wrong end of a telescope and all else pure, pristine white. My mom says he told me my Cancer was out of control and they would spike me with Chemo that would probably kill me anyway. The problem with dying is that when they finally tell you it is going to happen you are not even aware of it. Maybe that’s on purpose and I wonder a lot about That Day and the memories have come back through others who filled in the gaps and sent bomb shells through my brain in shocks and I call it dropping of bombs. Each person involved That Day remembers what it was really like and not what I imagined in a medicated haze.....

Next, another posse of doctors came in to ask if they could drill into my back and drain the fluid out of my right lung and I said, ‘sure’ and all my guests scattered to the waiting room wanting no part of that. It was our first collective laugh of the day as I tried to make them smile. A dedicated nurse held my hand and I remember little and when it was done I drifted off again and breathing needed oxygen for the first time without that thing in my nose......

I woke up the day after That Day to smiling doctors, visitors and nurses alike as I could breathe and actually move a little. I was awake to hear my doctor say the chemo was taking and I would need six months of it and I would live for another day albeit bald... lol.......

It’s all about days in our life and anything but a soap opera in a fake hospital and over reacting actors. It was That Day in my life that allows me to move on to that next That Day that will be even better as I pile up the great days ahead......

I lived That Day to write the Trout Falls Chronicles. I can’t imagine it never being written or even a thought in my mind. THAT scares me. I think it is a funny book, a rookie book with mistakes and not of death and dying even though I tried hard to fit it in. I hope you enjoyed this book as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Ace Is Not The Place For Me...
Posted On 07/06/2007 02:08:27
I puppy dog like followed Gracie around the Ace hardware store yesterday in a role reversal of the whimp variety. We needed a witchamacallit for the dohicky to help us put up an out dooorsy picture on the wall of my spare room that I call my outpost command post. Hardware stores have always been a not so comfortable place to me and by seeing all the other shoppers with that 1,000 mile stare looking for help finding a 3/8 inch galvanized rust resistant bolt that screws in counter clock wise, I knew I wasn't alone. I overheard a saleslady telling a man that one type of paint is for outside and another is for inside and I wondered if it worked the same for brushes too. Another worker was telling a man that the key he wanted made couldn't be done because it was against the law in four states including Illinois and I wondered why the other 46 said it was ok. nothing is ever ok in a hardware store if you ask me which no one did because I wasn't wearing one of those ace is the place red aprons....

This fits right in like a round peg in a square hole with my problem with Home Depot which is another favorite store of my sweetie who must have been Janet the tool lady in a past life. I place this establishment right up there with the dentist office and the gas chamber on my list of places I don't want to frequent very frequently. Don't get me wrong, if it wasn't for her our doorbell would still be out of order and the deck wouldn't have those classy bronze post covers....

As I write this she just took away my new ashtray that is shaped like a cup (yup, from Ace is the place) to scan it so some company can track her movements 24/7 while I want to drink from it instead of my Pepsi can which leaves me with a burnt lip and an ash mustache. Such is life with a wonderful woman who can still be feminine while wielding a ratchet. How many boomers does it take to put in a light bulb? Two. One to do it and one to write about someone doing it.......

We can't get into our garage because the key won't open the door to open the garage door and I asked her why we couldn't take the door off the hinges and she said, "Hello. (She loves saying hello when I say something stupid). People could take the door off and steal stuff from inside if the hinges were on the outside" and I realize I am way out of the loop while in Chicago concerning technical stuff. So, you may ask, what are my redeeming qualities that I bring to the table? Well, I can cook really well and my apron is not red but it says 'cook onboard'. I also mow the lawn, make a few needed bucks by selling books (not how to do books but how to fish books), I keep her awake while driving with funny one liners, line the trash cans with ace hardware hefty bags and take them to the garbage can in the alley which I haven't been in since we park our car on the street for now. Surprisingly, she hasn't figured out how to get the lock to work even though I suggested strapping a cherry bomb on it with, you guessed it, ace hardware masking tape. She put the kibosh on that plan faster then quick drying paint we bought at......never mind......

A great relationship depends on the strength of both involved and somehow I got real lucky finding her and am most thankful every day I wake up beside her not hearing the faucet dripping or seeing the paint peeling on the deck out back. It would be easy for Easy to sit in the car while she goes to these nether region stores but every once in awhile I say something relevant like Stanley did for Laural or Abbot did for Costello and that's probably why were so happy together, Turtles....

I hope you have a great Friday and weekend too and the next time your in a hardware store take a close look at the ones shopping and you will see what I mean. Keep smiling and never give up hope for a better day. Ace may be the place but the place to be in is the heart of our spouse who makes us so happy....

Easy Does it.....
