Though it was the death of a young Cousin (from an accidental overdose) that prompted the inspiration for this poem, I pray.......May we always remember that our Father loves ALL His children - Always!
CHOICES
No matter what life's choices are,
We know we have free will;
Regardless of the outcome,
We know God loves us still.
***
God loves us unconditionally;
With all His strength and power.
He'll dry our tears and comfort us;
He's there each troubled hour.
***
He listens to our broken hearts;
Our sorrows and our fear.
He holds us closely in His arms,
And says: "I'll always be here."

My first entry is a poem I wrote to Honor those in a 'Fix-It' Profession. Read on and you'll see why I called it that.
HAIL TO THE REPAIRMAN!
~
~~~
Has any of this happened to you?
~
A clock against the wall,
Being silent in the hall;
There's no sound of chime or bell,
(Musta happened when it fell.);
~
A car is trying to say good-bye,
But you don't want to let it die;
~
A half a pair of shoes
'Cause the other has the blues;
~
A computer, parts and cable
Spread all across your table;
~
An appliance - big or small
That just won't work at all;
And you pay Big Bucks to find out
You left the doggone plug out;
~
A deep rut in the street
That makes the road and your bottom meet;
~
A door with squeak or groan
That causes you to moan;
~
And you can't make your cell phone ring,
(Duh...You forgot to recharge the thing.);
~
A quirky washer or dryer
That sends your bill up higher;
Not only THE SHADOW's nose knows,
You have to have clean clothes;
~
The lights in your home suddenly go out
And bumping into furniture makes you shout;
~
A cooler that fails, and sweat is runny;
A heater stops heating, and makes
"Chill out" not so funny;
~
If any of this has happened to you,
What did you do?
~
CALL A REPAIRMAN!!
