Hello Lisa is a spaghetti squash like a butternut squash ? l roast my butternut squash in the oven before l make the soup. The other ingredients are lentils, onion, red peppers, stock. Sometimes l add some coconut milk at the end. It is very tasty. Hope you are looking forward to a nice weekend. l know l am.
good morning my friend! we ended up with an inch and a half of rainfall yesterday, over several hours, so a good slow rain, which we needed so badly, it's been way back in June (IF I remember right) since we had a little bit of rain. Nothing for today, going to hit around 103 for a high though. Looks like we'll be having those temps a lttle longer. I go to the stores and all the warm clothes for winter are out...it's hard to think I should buy something for COLD weather when it's still in the 100's here! LOL! I hope you enjoy the weekend ahead!
We've enjoyed the cooler temps..but warmer weather returns mid week. At least now, one can walk outside without feeling like being hit by a moving furnace. We've gotten some yard work done, as well as getting the leaves and small limbs off of the roof. Our homeowners insurance comp sent over a required inspection list we had to do. Got all of those photos done and sent back over mid day. I'll have a few errands tomorrow. Speaking of Florida, we are tentatively planning a trip in November to St Augustine. Never been before. My hairdresser has been telling me how nice a place it is to visit. So we will see how all goes. We have our beach condo rented and that trip is just 39 days away. Have a wonderful new week ahead bud.
ooh! I believe you will love St. Augustine. That is my youngest daughter's favorite place to go in all of Florida. And November will be better than going in the middle of summer. I had cataract surgery on Wednesday and in 2 weeks my other eye. The surgery wasn't that fun. I was awake with twilight anesthesia. I think they brought me out of it a bit too soon :( anyway eye feels sore and bruised and they say it will take about 2 weeks to heal for each eye. Hoping and praying for the best. Hugs ߫
