Hello - You should have seen the trees today.. Looked all shiney and glassy.. The yard was glassy too.. Looked like the pretrified forest.. Looked so surreal.. Pretty to look at but hard to function in it.. Our power and Internet went out yesterday afternoon.. Too much ice on the wires.. The power came back on around 11pm, but the darn Internet stayed out until early this morning.. The freezing rain stopped this morning, but the damage had already been done.. Probably will be safe to go out on Sunday evening.. Your snowy pictures are so pretty! ME
Evening was another chilly day., only in the 20's got 4 inches of snow
so only went out to shovel the walk way and my car., hopefully tomorrow i plan on going to the grocery store,., hope you had a better day., see you in the morning,

Saturday is going to be GREAT. Yesterday it was 85° and today should be beautiful too.
Come on over, the gate is easy to open. There is so much we can do together today.
It is the perfect day to take the Christmas Tree down. Do you take your tree down or leave it up for a while?
I could sure use your help taking all the lights down and packing them away.
After all, we have a BLUE norther moving across our area on Sunday night. By Monday night, we will probably drop to 27°. I will NOT be outside! I will go from the warm house to the warm car to the warm office.
So you are welcome to spend the day here enjoying our temperatures in the low 80's while it lasts and having fun with me. Because even though the days are getting longer now, it will be dark and time for bed way too soon.
It was 79 on Christmas Day...today, 59 and cloudy..tomorrow, 75 and sunny. I think our crazy weather will even out on Tuesday..mid 40's. It felt strange having the ceiling fans going and windows up yesterday, but here in the south, it's not unusual. We will see what Jan and Feb brings.
"As December draws to a close, we find ourselves standing in a quiet in-between. The calendar is nearly full, yet our hearts feel unfinished...lingering somewhere between what was and what might be. The final days of the year carry a softer sound...less about celebration, more about reflection. It is a pause the world offers us, whether we notice it or not. For now, we stand here...between the last page and the first, quietly hopeful, and ready in our own time."
Sweet Dreams, Lisa. We are lucky this year to have beautiful weather for Christmas. The news is full of stories of people who wern't so lucky. Let's hope for lots of good things to happen in the new year.
