Evening  very coldm windy chill is in the minus -20 so there closing school already brrrr., went to Aldi;s today for a few things plus coffee and gas/.  so much snow there putting it in the ocean,   hope your having a good day.,  hope to go stop and shop tomorrow.  see you in the morning.,

Boyd&I are fine!! Been hunkered down here for a week now. Might try to go into town, tomorrow, might!! Our son, Bill is improving so much!! Thank you for prayers! He is working from home now. Started back, Tuesday. He fell on the 29th of November, broke his femur. Got back to work on January, 27th. Not bad! Still in physical therapy. They come to his house. We had tuna salad sandwiches and porknbeans for lunch. Hadn't had that in a very long time!! I hope you all have been well and staying warm!! Hugs Shirley

Hello my friend. Its a chilly day here. The sun is shining brightly but the wind is out of the north and we are only 37 and feels like 28. I haven't even been out of the house yet. Got all my laundry done and the dishes done. So I can relax this afternoon. We still have a little snow is spots where its shady. I hope you are having a good afternoon. Take care my friend.

Hi Lisa, glad to hear you did not lose power.  Just cold temps here, no ice or snow.  I made a pot of chicken tortilla soup last night. Soup is my go-to for cold weather.  My indoor cat is currently ensconced on my bed.  I have to make her go out to potty and she runs as fast as she can back inside as soon as she does. lol.  Our other outdoor cat, half-feral, won't come in but we made her a warm little house with blankets.  Have a good Thursday.

January is coming to an end already!  Where did the month go?  

But what we have just been through could have been worse!  

Wendy, our daughter, in Bowie, Texas did not have this much but they got lots of snow!!!  

'Nuff said.  

But I do feel sorry for others like the animals and birds!
