We might in a couple of days as we in for another scorching week .

Just 1 more week and its goodbye to July 

Washed a winter shirt  and  bathroom rug  today and   let them dry outdoors.

It`s quite humid out there.

.Got  3 and a half bags of peanuts in the shell and picked up another 4 bottles today as i  took a walk to mail some bills.   

Trying to declutter   day after day, but its hard  when you don`t have  the room . There  is a little improvement.

Im in the kitchen and i have a small fan near the back door .Once that air kicks on i run the fan so it blows in the cold air from downstairs.   

It does make a considerable difference as the central air turns off much sooner.

what a morning I've had!! went out to do a few errands (to get walking done while inside an air conditioned building...last stop was a discount grocery store, came out to leave and my car wouldn't start...tried it several times, had to call the hubby to come...he got it jumped started with his car, and while we on our way back home, I noticed the engine light lit up....so..hopefully it's just in need of a new battery and not a new engine! YIKES! he's taking it right to a car place to get it checked out...I will never go out on a Saturday again! LOL!

Hi Lisa. So good you got some rain. It’s amazing how it freshens everything up in the heat. I saw on the news this evening the fires that are raging in Spain and parts of France so I’m guessing that more hot weather could be heading your way again. I can understand how everyone is so tired of the constant heat.  We had several nights during the past week with temps dropping to 30 resulting in some nasty frosts and that was followed by days of light rain. I do notice our days are becoming longer as we head towards Spring. I can imagine how you and David are looking forward to your beach vacation and so nice David’s brother is going too.  Hope you have a great weekend. Hugs ~Pat~

Saturday is the best day of the week.  A day for fun and family or to do NOTHING!  

It is also a day to share your love!  Find any way you can, by email, text, visiting someone in person or by phone.  

Take time to smell the flowers but watch out for bees and wasps.  They love to pollinate the plants so we have many more growing!  

If you are out and about be sure to give someone you know a Hug!  A stranger might not understand it, unless you ask them if they need a Hug first.

At the end of the day, take the time to show your love by visiting with your family or even reading a book to the grands.  Love will abound!
