Good morning Lisa from sunny Ireland.  Hope all went well with the attic staircase.  It is lovely watching the birds in the garden.  l feed the birds too but l have never seen a cardinal.  We mostly have blue tits, robins, sparrows, black birds, thrushes.  l like hearing them in the garden when l am having coffee.  Hope you have a lovely Sunday.

HOPE YOU LIKE THE ROSES. A WISH I HAD A PLACE 400 FT TO PUT THINGS IN. IN AN APARTMENT THERE IS NEVER ENOUGH ROOM. GOOD FOR YOU AND HOPE IT TURNS OUT JUST THE WAY YOU WANT IT. NO CARDINALS UP HERE ON THE WEST COAST OF b.c. WE HAD SO MANY FOREST FIRES THIS YEAR, SO MANY LOST THEIR HOMES , HAVE NOTHING LEFT. WE DO HAV HOUSE FINCH WHICH THE MALES HAVE LOVELY COLORS. HAVE YOU TALKED TO WAGS AS OF LATE?? I DO HOPE SHE IS OKAY AND DH TOO. HAVE  A GOOD WEEKEND HARPER NC   HUGS, MOE 

A warm Saturday, but humidity has been kind. We're getting a attic staircase installed in our garage today..hopefully it will be finished this evening. I say garage, it's not attached to our home, but houses out motorcycles, lawn care stuff, tools, and is a workshop. We built it 2 years ago..it's almost 400 sq feet. And t didn't take long to get it filled up. I'll be replenishing the bird feeders on kitchen window this afternoon. I've enjoyed watching them there. Have seen mostly cardinals and finch. Have a wonderful weekend.

Hi Lisa  seeing that it is going to get quite hot again i spent time power washing the sidewalk just 3 of them  that are by my back door  from where those squirrels   hang around .

They dont realize that  its property they just slop and  smash and tear into what ever they can .

Im in the kitchen  all i do is go  down 2 steps  and i can open up the back door.

One is so dog gone cute .Ill open the door   for a little opening and the squirrel he steps up and he sticks his  cute little head inside .He does this alot . 

I have everything on my step in little pill bottles  so i dont have to keep going back and forth

.I use the bottles because its a good measurement  that fills up the plastic  dish  Then i have another dish by my gate.

I walk out and fill that dish so the squirrels  don`t fight   each other  for food

.Once in awhile i see a cardinal 

 Sometimes i see these big birds that  make  noise they are very big and s they are the ones  who can get their mouth on a  shelled peanut and fly away .. 

Sunday to Wednesday pretty hot days .But it should not last too long .
