Hi Lisa. It’s nice and sunny here today after having heavy rain yesterday and it seems the days will be nice through to next week. That will dry the ground out a little as it’s beginning to get soggy. How long do you spend at the Gym? That’s very handy having it so close to where you live. Good to hear that David has cut back on work only if for a little. That will give him more time to relax.   I’m thinking I may go outdoors later this afternoon to potter around. I’ll take Muffy with me so he can have a romp around. So sad to see that Dolly Parton has passed away. She was a wonderful entertainer. Not many of those great entertainers left now. Enjoy your day. popular female singer along with Bing Crosby as the most popular male
singer in 1934 by a contest held by Roadioland Magazine. Annette who
starred in NBC's Captain Henry's ShowBoat received over one million

Catherine Annette Hanshaw was an American Jazz Age singer. She was
one of the most popular radio stars of the late 1920s and early 1930s,
with many of her most notable performances taking place on NBC's Maxwell
House Show Boat. Over four million of her records had been sold by
1934, following the peak of her popularity.

In her ten-year recording career, she recorded about 250 sides. In a
1934 poll conducted by Radio Stars magazine, she received the title of
best female popular singer. Second place went to Ethel Shutta, third
place went to Ruth Etting, and fourth place went to Kate Smith.

She was a prolific performer (with over 780 recordings!), and made
records under dozens of pseudonyms including Gay Ellis for sentimental
songs, Dot Dare and Patsy Young (for Betty Boop impressions), as well
as Ethel Bingham, Marion Lee, Janet Shaw, and Lelia Sandford.

Good Afternoon to you. Its a very warm and humid day here. I was going to wear my hair down today but after I took out the trash this morning I decided, nope, not happening. We do have a chance for thunderstorms later today. I sure hope we get some rain. We need it. On my pictures from when our daughter was here. Well, I have to resize them all and I have 14 pictures. I go online to a page called image resizer. And I can only do one at a time. For the free version, which I always look for, you can only do 10 pictures per day. I don't know what I'm going to do. I have ran out of energy for the day and as I always so my Zip has been Zapped.  

I am so ready for Fall tempertures. This heat and humidity has just been awful. My dryer just buzzed, so I had better get off of here and get the small load out of the dryer. You take care my friend and enjoy your afternoon.
