Too blessed to be stressed.
I am trying to see the good in every person even if I meet them online. People will reject you because of the light you bring , but keep on shining. Our days will be happier if we give people a bit of our heart instead of our mind.
Neighbors come in all shapes, sizes and colors. Neighbors are defined as being near or next to each other. There are neighbors that live next to each other for years yet they never meet. Then there are neighbors that become closer than some blood relatives. Exposure, compassion a nd empathy play a big part in creating these relationships. To have friends, one must be friendly.

It's the first day of Autumn. I like to call it Autumn not Fall. That's how I was taught in elementary school. I get a nice feeling with the cool air coming through my window and seeing the leaves on the trees outside turn to gold. I just want to snuggle but it's only my pillow.

Become friends with people who does not come from your social class, who speak a different language than yours, who does not have the same age as yours. This is how you need to see the world and this is how your perspective of others change.
To be so busy loving life and not to have time for worry, regret, fear, drama and hate.
I know I am blessed , you are blessed , everyone is blessed because you are on your computer right now and sending comments and doing all these stuff because GOD woke you up this morning. Some people did not even wake up . I always thank GOD for everything - my health, for sustaining my needs, for a roof above my head and for food on the table. I try to share my blessings to other people because by doing so GOD will pour out more until my cup overflows. This Labor Day weekend me and my pastors and some church members are going to bless the Homeless by prayers and food and giving them blankets to keep them warm. So if you feel like giving out why not do it today. Just waving and giving your sweet smile to a stranger can do much. Who knows that he might be thinking of doing something drastic and by your gesture you might save him. And it is funny because while we driving down Big Sur here in CA we were following a car who keeps waving at people and we were laughing but it did not occur to me until I read an article on this . Probably GOD blessed him that day and was glorifying HIS name. May you feel the love of GOD in your hearts today and may your words and actions reflect GOD's love in you and may your light shine for others to see that GOD's love is in you.
So I was reading the Parade magazine in last Sunday's paper and surprise, in the cover is a daughter and father actors Chris and Abby Elliott and an article on how to bridge the generational divide. One thing that made me smile was what Abby was telling us boomers to switch to Gmail and she was referring to those still using AOL ( I do but I rarely use my email there). And Chris the dad and this really make me laugh so hard because it relates to boomers including me. That boomers are hoarders. I go to garage sale or thrift shop and find a nice decor or table and I buy it. My daughter was telling me no more tables. And I do not want to part with those old greeting cards sent to me by family and friends. Are you kidding me? These are collectibles. I have a dry sense of humor. And yes I do not like tatoos. I have a smartphone not an iphone and yes I know how to text and take a picture on my smart phone. I have a kindle fire tablet that I sometimes use to check my emails when I do not feel like using my desktop(I like my monitor), I read books on my kindle and use it as a radio to listen to my favorite oldies station online.
