Good Morning, Karen. We in North Carolina are awaiting an ice storm. At least, that's what we're forecast to get starting sometime today. Ice on roads and tree limbs are worrying us. There's a lot of hills here to create problems for drivers from icy road. And the ice that outlines the tree branches can get so heavy that it causes limbs to break off and fall on power lines causing outages. And we just aren't used to these below freezing temperatures. We are taking this storm very seriously. Store shelves haven't been cleaned off this severely since COVID.
I feel for you Karen. It's not quite as bad here in Buffalo, but very cold. It's gonna be a long cold weekend for many with the winter storm coming. Take care, Jackie
