It means that under the furniture there are no dust bunnies, dog hair or crickets.  It means the interior wall may have all of the above until Spring Cleaning.  hehehe. We have very little noise from the outside with the 16 layers of insulation that the windows have.  Hopefully there will be a lot less dust coming in.  It should drop our electricity by 30% keeping the hot out in hot weather as well as the cold out in cold weather.  Touching the windows on the inside and the outside is about the same now.  We just love looking out without blinds or dark solar screens to look through.  As I walk through the house, I love looking out.  This morning I noticed movement from my peripheral vision and there was a squirrel on the tree shaking his tail.  hehehe

Je viens enfin donner de mes nouvelles après une si longue absence depuis le 11 juin, due à un gros problème de santé.

Je suis rentrée à l'hôpital en urgence pour une opération dans le bas du dos pour me soulager de toutes ces grosses douleurs que j'ai depuis des années et qui me bloquaient dans tous les actes du quotidien. Cette opération était prévue mais pas aussi tôt !

Je suis conservée hospitalisée 1 mois et demi, puis retour à la maison.  

Après être rentrée, j'ai dû rester alitée pendant quasiment 2 mois ! Ce fut très difficile !

La position assise a repris peu à peu, avec difficultés au début, en ce moment ça va mieux, mais d'une durée encore limitée !   Je fais toujours très, très attention !

J'étais donc dans l'incapacité totale de venir sur le site.

C'était très frustrant mais je n'y pouvais rien ! Ma santé avant tout !

En plus, j'ai perdu 3 de mes petits chiens à cause de gastro-entérite hémorragique ! Malgré tous les soins que nous leur avons apportés, ils nous ont quittés !

Ce fût très, très douloureux pour notre famille.

Ne pouvant me lever, c'est mon fils qui a tout géré au niveau de mes petits chiens malgré la douleur qu'il ressentait et moi, tellement frustré de ne pouvoir être présent avec lui pour l'aider, le soutenir ! Rien que d'en parler, les larmes me viennent… !

J'ai préféré faire un « grand break » après pour évacuer tous mes ressentis de ces derniers mois.

Je vais reprendre doucement sur Boomer !

J'espère que pour toi tout va bien et que tu passes une belle fin d'automne !

Chez nous, beaucoup de vent et de pluie ! Le froid commence à s'installer et les températures chutent pas mal ! La neige chez nous est prévue pour jeudi.

Il va falloir que je me remette à faire une nouvelle page. J'espère avoir des idées !

Wednesday and here come the before and after pictures.  We are so excited not to have blinds and solar screens in and on the windows anymore.  The 16 layers of insulation not only keep the outside temperature out and the inside temp in, but the house is so much more quiet.  

This is the dining room with the sheer curtains put back up.  I love being able to see out into the front yard through them.  It is much more elegant than it was with the same sheers.  

This is the guest room or Wendy's room, hehehe!  It is so bright and cheerful and really no one can see in it.  And the master bedroom is like a sun room during the day!  I love to walk into it.  

The master bathroom has the "rain" window on it and you can't see in or out of it.  When the sun shines on it, it sparkles!  We love it!

The computer room is my favorite room to look out of during the day or night and also to look at from the front of the house.  The way they changed it makes it look so much larger and more appealing.  

Of course this is also my favorite place!  I love looking out from the kitchen or my chair in the living room.  And I love being out in the yard and looking back at the house.  Remember, you are invited to join us!
