I've dreamed many a dream that never came true

I've seen them vanish at dawn

But I've realized enough of my dreams, thank God, to make me wanna dream on

I've prayed many prayers when no answer came

Though I've waited patient and long

But answers have come to enough of my prayers

to make me wanna keep praying on

I've trusted many a friend that failed

And left me to weap alone

But I have found enough of my friends true blue

to make me wanna keep trusting on

I've sown many a seed that fell by the way

For the birds to feed upon

I've held enough golden sheaves in my hand

to make me wanna keep sowing on

I've drained the cup of disappointment and pain

and gone many days without song

But I've sipped enough nector from the roses of life to make me wanna live on

Smiling is infectious,
You catch it like the flu,
When someone smiled at me today,
I started smiling too.

I passed around the corner,
And someone saw my grin,
When he smiled I realized,
I'd passed it on to him.

I thought about that smile,
Then realized its worth,
A single smile, just like mine,
Could travel round the earth.

So, if you feel a smile begin,
Don't leave it undetected.
