Thanks to all who've continued to comment and send messages while I was offline! I haven't been here in a long time, so here's what I've been up to.

First of all, it has taken me quite a while to get all my Multiply blogs neatly transferred over to WordPress so that I won't lose them forever. If you'd like to check out my blogs, here's the address: http://ranikaye.wordpress.com/ 

Also, My granddaughter was born September 25th, and I was present for her birth. What a blessing that was! Now I get to watch her grow up. What a blessing that will be!

And then, in late October, my husband had a sudden onset of "heartburn" that turned out to be a widow-maker blockage in his heart requiring a high-risk stent procedure - which was, thank God, successful! He only missed 3 days of work; but now we are waiting on the medical bills.

And so, life is sort of back-to-normal. I am looking forward to celebrating Thanksgiving with my sons and daughters-in-law and grandbaby coming here for dinner this week.

Hoping to be around a little more regular now!

Thanks to all my friends for your comments while I was off vacationing this week! We did some camping in the woods:

Today we are mostly resting up from vacation, and gearing up for work tomorrow. Hopefully I will be around MyBoomerPlace to visit more in the coming week. Just wanted to thank you all for being my friends! Have a nice evening, everybody! Rani

My arms had gotten a little flabby, post-menopause. I noticed this in December of last year. They aren't so flabby now. Kneading dough to bake my own bread last winter helped, as did using cast iron cookware from time-to-time. But I said to GOD in December of 2011, that what I really need, is a child to carry about. And lo, I am going to be a grandmother in September of 2012! Is that cool, or what?

I only have 7 friends so far, but I like it here much better than WordPress. I've got a bunch of followers already at WordPress, but nobody interacts much over there!

As soon as I figure out how to use everything here, I'm thinking this will be my new cyberhome.

Sure do hope more of my Multiply friends show up!

But looks like I'll make new friends here, too.
