Singing Amazing Grace to the tune of House of the rising sun? Terrible terrible terrible. She took the most beautiful hymn and threw mud on it. A hymn of light and glorifying of the Lord, she made dark. Two thumbs down. That’s just my opinion.
Nope. Reagan was off key tonight. So was the little girl who sang earlier, from Kelly ‘s team , I think. I hear in perfect pitch, so it bothers me when a note is off, sometimes it actually hurts, physically, can’t describe it, but there it is. Let’s see how the rest goes.
We’re watching The Voice, of course, since Eddie is a sound engineer. And the voices he admires most are: THE BACK-UP singers!!!! That’s what you gotta expect when you’re married to a sound guy. :D

Hats!

Just hats and a scarf I've been making.
Today Mom is a little better. She's not wobbling. But, I'm sure she had another episode, a small brain stroke. They've told me that since she's "normal" by the time she's at the hospital, they won't admit her. Well, she's living on borrowed time anyway, so any extra day she is here is that, an extra day with her.
Son #1, who works for FEMA here on the Island, says he now has to work on Saturdays, because of H. Michael. They have to take their cases, too. He's not too happy with that, but such is life. At any rate, he has a job.
Today is Friday. That means that the Alabama Crimson Tide plays tomorrow. :D They are doing pretty well. Despite her dementia (not classified yet), Mom watches and understands football. My brother used to play, I was a cheerleader. And Dad made our uniforms. Life was certainly different living on an Army base.
I'm rambling...Thanks to those who prayed for Mom and me. I'm still tired, but with Mom not wobbly, it's just all better.
Praise God from Whom all blessings flow!

Tired

Mom is wobbly, could barely walk. I’m so tired.... Not sure I’ll have her much longer. Thanks for listening
Jeffy is on the right. Red (aka Slinky) is on the left.

Hello, Boomers, greetings and salutations.
Friday has a habit of coming every week, and every week I welcome it! Son #2 came in, is going to eat lunch and then will take Jeffy (Hubby's dachshund) to the vet. He's been sort of groaning lately and today I decided to follow him when he wanted to go out to the backyard. His stool is too soft and looks like it's bloody. Poor doggy.
I'm off to take care of Mom and do a few things here, including a camo hat for my grandson. He keeps putting his sister's hat on, so of course, Marmee has to make a hat for him. I've never been good at this "tough grandmother" stuff.
The blessings of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Sorry I can't do the rounds to everybody's page, you all know life is rather hectic around here.
Slinky has been under the sofa for hours, so I knew a thunderstorm was coming and it's overhead. I hate thunder, it makes the house rumble, and my house is made of cement and cinder blocks (is that what it's called?)not bricks and wood. I'm off
