Each of us has developed an internal filtering process that helps us choose which parts of our constant inner monologues get voiced outside of our heads. Sometimes the choice is based on what we consider to be polite or appropriate, using subtlety instead of directness to try to get our point across. Other times the choice is made based on our expectations of the other person and what we feel they should know about us, our feelings, and our needs. But our best chance of getting what we need is to communicate specifically by converting our inner voice to our outside voice. This may seem unnecessary sometimes, especially when we think the other person has the same information we ourselves are working with, but we have to remember they also have their own inner voice, evaluating what they hear in light of their own issues and needs. With so much to consider and sift through, we are truly better off if we communicate precisely. Not only does doing this minimize the chance for misinterpretation, but voicing our thoughts it is an act of creation. We convert thought and imagination to sound, releasing it from the chamber of our minds into the outside world. This carries energy and intention with it, making our thoughts, wishes, and even dreams come true. When we have the courage to speak our minds and use our voice to send the desires of our hearts from our inner world to the world outside, we take a bold step in making them happen. By removing fear of what others may think and expectation of what others should understand, we free ourselves and our thoughts from the bondage of the mental chamber and let loose our desires onto the canvas of the world. Next time we become aware that we have a choice about how to communicate, we can choose to use our outside voice and watch its creative power at work.

Psychic experiences are a natural part of our everyday lives. People often have difficulty accepting that they have been blessed with psychic abilities because without a frame of reference it is almost impossible to identify an extrasensory experience and to distinguish psychic sights, sounds, and sensations from the projects of the unconscious mind. To some extent, every human being on the planet is clairvoyant, clairaudient, and clairsentient, although most people discover that they are naturally adept at one more than the others. When you trust in and take steps to hone your innate clairvoyance, clairaudience, and clairsentience, you will enter a new realm of being in which the universe, your higher self, and your spirit guides lovingly conduct you toward a more aware existence. Clairvoyance, or clear seeing, is the ability to see with the mind's eye. An individual who has honed their clairvoyant abilities may be able to see in their mind's eye events in a remote location; to witness incidents that have yet to occur; or to perceive shapes, colors, and other images that are physically invisible. Clairaudience, which means clear listening, is the ability to hear sounds not physically audible. A person with the gift of clairaudience perceives psychic information as auditory resonance and may hear angelic voices, music, or other sounds. A clairsentient, or clear feeling, individual is able to sense physical, emotional, and spiritual energy in the form of seemingly unearthly scents, touches, and movements. Each of these psychic abilities can manifest themselves within us voluntarily or involuntarily. It is natural for us to have these abilities; we need only practice. Developing your psychic talents is a matter of releasing your fear of seeing, hearing, or feeling inexplicable or disquieting stimulus. Before you attempt to consciously tap into your gifts, ground yourself to anchor your mind in the present to disconnect from any involuntary psychic experiences you may be having. Concentrate on your intuitive responses to the world around you and notice any sights, sounds, or feelings that enter your mind. If you trust your perceptions, you'll discover that each psychic impression you receive will be in some way relevant to your experience—even when that relevance may not be immediately recognizable.

Each lifetime is entered with the purpose of healing karma and transmuting energies of fear into a higher vibration. This is the purpose of life and for each lifetime that is experienced on earth. The human experience creates karma until it can learn to connect with the energy of unconditional love, which then allows ascension into new energetic vibrations to occur. Karmic cycles allow the experience of karma through lessons to allow for the possibility of healing and forgiveness. This is the path of un-doing, which can create repeated cycles of learning until you aware that the way out of these cycles is to be-come the healing and transformation that will release the karma. Every human connection contains a karmic element which you can be aware of by remembering that this is a central aspect of every interaction. Being aware of the presence of karma, observing the energy exchanges and knowing when karma is being activated allows you to see where there are opportunities to become the healing your own soul requires. You are either on the path of un-doing karma, which you do by repeating it in every interaction, or be-coming transformation. Asking for the higher vibration of this experience is one way to stop 'un-doing' karma and become a new vibration. By recognizing and using every opportunity for healing, the karmic cycles of your life and of the world are minimized and greater opportunities for release and healing are available. This is part of your life mission, to stop the cycles of undoing, which are karmic, and to discover that life can be a joyful, effortless experience created from your highest vibrations. Each of you is a healer of your soul wounds, soul groups, soul mates and of the world. But do not feel overwhelmed by the task because all healing begins with you and you each have the ability to follow the path of undoing or the path of becoming. You know which path to choose, which one is aligned with your soul's desire for healing and transformation and which one responds to your own wish for ascension and life in higher dimensions of being. Choose the path you resonate with, that answers your heart's call for healing and transformation and you will, with each step on your journey, become your heaven on earth.

For better or worse, much of the world we experience is dominated and controlled by human beings. We spend our days in houses, cars, and buildings, and inside these structures, we are in control. We assert our wills and manipulate our environment. Within the context of the human world, this is natural. However, we often carry this attitude with us into the world of nature. We forget as we enter the forest, or sit on the edge of a pond, that we are moving into another realm, one that asks us to drop our baggage and surrender to a different sense of order and meaning. When we move from our everyday world into the world of nature, we may not even notice at first. We might continue talking loudly into our cell phone or to a friend that is with us. We might walk quickly as if we are on a busy city street, our eyes downcast, our thoughts hectic and hurried. In the best case, if we are sensitive to our environment, we will soon notice that it has changed. We may hear ducks calling, or wind moving through the leaves on a tree. If we notice the shift, we will naturally shift as well. If we don't, we may get all the way through a beautiful park without having lowered our voices. Next time you find yourself in the presence of wildlife—even if it's just a duck pond in the midst of urban hustle—try to move into a receptive state of openness and listening, no matter how much or how little time you have. Allow yourself to be captivated and calmed by the energy of the wildlife that covers this earth. Teaching our children to be respectful of nature and to stop and observe is a gift they can always cherish. We preserve pockets of nature in our urban centers and large expanses of nature in our national parks because of the magic we feel in its presence. It reminds us of our smallness and calls us back to a deeper, quieter part of ourselves. When we honor nature by being respectful in its presence, we honor the mystery and wild beauty of our origin.

Identity is an elusive concept. We feel we must define ourselves using a relatively small selection of roles and conscious character traits, even if none accurately represents our notion of "self." The confusion surrounding our true natures is further compounded by the fact that society regularly asks us to suppress so much of our emotional, intellectual, and spiritual vibrancy. Yet we are, in truth, beings of light—pure energy inhabiting physical bodies, striving for enlightenment while living earthly lives. Our true selves exist whether we acknowledge them or not, often buried under fears and learned behavior. When we recognize our power, our luminosity, and our divinity, we cannot help but live authentic lives of appreciation, potential, fulfillment, and grace. At birth and throughout your childhood, your thoughts and feelings were more than likely expressions of your true self. Though you may have learned quickly that to speak and act in a certain fashion would win others' approval, you understood innately that you were no ordinary being. There are many ways you can recapture the authenticity you once articulated so freely. Meditation can liberate you from the bonds of those earthly customs that compel you to downplay your uniqueness. Also, communing with nature can remind you of the special role you were meant to play in this lifetime. In order to realize your purpose, you must embrace your true self by letting your light shine forth, no matter the consequences. Rediscovering who you are apart from your roles and traits takes time and also courage. If, like many, you have denied your authenticity for a long while, you may find it difficult to separate your true identity from the identity you have created to cope with the world around you. Once you do find this authentic self, however, you will be overcome by a wonderful sense of wholeness as you reconcile your spiritual aspect and your physical aspect, as well as your inner- and outer-world personas. As you gradually adjust to this developing unity, your role as a being of light will reveal itself to you, and you will discover that you have a marvelous destiny to fulfill.

Everything in our reality exists because we made a choice to accept or decline something at some point in time. This is our life journey of choosing one thing over another based on our beliefs, thoughts, perceptions and memories. And we then make future decisions based on the results we achieve with each of these choices. But that strategy ignores some very important information because with the result our perspective is on the 'happening'. When we look for the gift, our focus is on the learning. The gift is more spiritually powerful, while the result is more emotionally compelling. Results make us feel good or bad, powerful or powerless, validated or victimized. But results do not lead to anything because we use them to judge our decisions by how we feel. If we like the result, we chose well, if not then we chose poorly. But with this perspective we are making slow, if any, progress and can feel like we're going in circles. This is why we are faced with the same kinds of choices and we always choose in the same way. Using results to judge our spiritual path never allows our circle of potential choices to expand because we are making choices from our emotions instead of our understanding. There is a lesson and a blessing in all things. This is the gift which illuminates the path to our learning. We are not here to suffer, we are here to learn, heal, grow and transform our human experience into a spiritual partnership. Our challenge is to stop 'feeling' our way through this process and start learning from every step of our journey so we can have closure and expand our field of potential, moving from one level of understanding to another in ways that expand our life path and release us from suffering and painful learning into knowing life as a joyful experience of purposeful manifestation. There will always be opportunities to accept or decline but without understanding we are stuck in our emotional cycles that create the same experiences again and again because there is no closure, where we are stuck on the treadmill of experience, constantly moving but not making any progress. With learning we take responsibility, release our victim consciousness and make conscious, powerful choices about how we use our power. And this is where the gift becomes the stepping stone to greater understanding, more awareness and manifesting new opportunities to accept or decline that are aligned with our goals for joyful and abundant living.

In thinking of years past and lessons learned, about love, life, joy and so many other things, my thoughts finally turned to one almost forgotten lesson. Or should I say the teacher that taught me how to love again without meaning to or asking for anything more then a little compassion. That being a kitten of gray, black and white color named Kai, one of three kittens and one that no one liked including myself until he won me over. This little guy was just having fun running around and playing on my bed one day when I was cleaning and sorting through some papers. He saw great fun in making a big mess of everything but quickly changed my mind when I picked up the papers to throw them out. He showed off a sweet side I didn’t know about, after having seen a side of the little guy I’d never seen before I quickly found a new friend that brought no end of laughter and love. One day in particular I was busy working on some paper work when he found the clothes hamper and fell in scaring himself. When I pulled him out and I had to let him know that he was all right and loved just as any child likes to know when he or she hurts him/herself. Not something I ever received or was ever taught. It made me think of how even when we have grown into adults we still need to show ourselves that kind of love when we have fallen down. So many times we don’t do that most important and needed little thing, nor do we treat ourselves with the care that you should give to a child. When you are happy or when sad, mad or glad, you still need to know you are loved and especially so when you’ve fallen. Think of the things you would do for a friend when they are hurting or have themselves fallen down or think of the things you would say to a child. You can do some of those same things for yourself, you can take care of yourself the way you do others. Love, like happiness or joy starts with oneself and if you want to love another and/or take care of another. Start taking care of, and loving yourself first, the rest really follows pretty easily, in fact when you learn to treat yourself the way you would treat a best friend. You not only can become your own best friend but you will also find it a lot easier to love someone else. Unconditional love works the same way, you have to love yourself unconditionally before you can love another unconditionally. There was a lesson, for in that very same subject with kitten Kai. Because this kitty wasn’t one that any other person really liked because even though he was really sweet. He could be OVERLY sweet and didn’t ever stop being sweet, in fact he rather liked to get under foot and want to be petted for hours, when your busy or sleeping. Though the second lesson that stands out brightly for me now is to love despite little faults and despite what others see. Only you see the traits in people, pets and things you love, only you will ever feel the way you do from loving those things, people and pets. At the same time you will learn to love both the good and the bad, even the 4 AM wake up calls just to be petted or for food or just to say I love you and want you to know. Every thing and everyone has there ups and downs including yourself but that doesn’t mean you should think yourself any less. When you love yourself as unconditionally, it means taking the good with the bad and loving yourself and others and realizing that’s what makes you who you are and another people who they are.

The Queen's Birthday Parade - Trooping The Colour - celebrates The Queen's official birthday each June and takes place on Horse Guards Parade,Whitehall, usually on the second Saturday of the month. The troops participating in the parade are the Household Division - composing of the Grenadier, Coldstream, Scots, Irish and Welsh Guards. It is The Queen's Colour which is 'trooped' each year in the presence of the Sovereign.
The parade is based upon the ceremony used for guard mounting from Horse Guards Parade in London, in the early 18th century, and was first performed on the Sovereign's birthday for King George III in 1748. It became an annual event from George IV onwards.
Until 1913 the King and a Prince would attend the guard mounting ceremony at Horse Guards accompanied by many visiting members of foreign royal families, the Army Council and other senior officers, and military attaches and members of the royal households. However, in 1914 King George V agreed to changes and at the close of the ceremony place himself at the head of his Guards and ride down the Mall to Buckingham Palace behind the massed bands. The same procedure is still carried out today, except that The Queen no longer rides on horseback but travels in a carriage....in 1986 The Queen's horse, Burmese, retired and she decided to use the carriage instead of training another horse. She is usually accompanied by the Duke of Edinburgh on horseback.
The Queen, then Princess Elizabeth, first appeared mounted on the parade in 1947 with her father King George VI - the first Birthday Parade to be held after the Second World War.

Not a holiday or celebration but chocolate is given or bought on these occasions Cocoa beans were originally brought to Europe by Christopher Columbus and were just one of the many treasures he had collected during his discovery of America. The European's first experience of these almond shaped beans was not one of great enthusiasm and it was not until further explorations of the Americas by the great Spanish explorer Hernando Cortez that their true possibilities were realised.
During his conquest of Mexico, Cortez found the Aztec emperor, Montezuma, to be serving a cocoa based drink to his guests called 'Chocolatl'. Montezuma, who drank 50 or so of the goblets of the drink daily, gave it to Cortez and his fellow explorers as a food for the Gods. Although distinctive, the Spanish guests found this concoction too bitter for their European tastes and came up with the idea of adding sugar to sweeten the taste.
When the explorers returned to Spain, the popularity of the drink soon spread and newly discovered spices such as Vanilla and Cinnamon were also added to enhance the flavour. The 'Chocolatl' soon became a favourite of the aristocracy. It was later discovered that using heated milk added to the pleasure of the drink. The secret of this new and delicious drink remained with the Spaniards for quite a time. It was not until some one hundred years later that the recipe for the drink was revealed by monks employed to process the cocoa beans.
Before long the rest of Europe, and of course these days the world, was able to indulge in what we now commonly call 'Hot Chocolate'.
