An old woman goes to the doctor and asks his

help to revive her husband's sex drive.

"What about trying Viagra?" asks the doctor.

"Not a chance," says Mrs.. Murphy.

"He won't even take an aspirin for a headache."

"No problem," replies the doctor. "Drop it into his coffee,

he won't even taste it. Try it and come back in a week to

let me know how you got on."

A week later Mrs.. Murphy returns to the doctor and he

inquires as to how things went.

"Oh it was terrible, just terrible doctor."

"What happened?" asks the doctor.

"Well I did as you advised and slipped it in his coffee.

10 minutes later, he jumped straight up, swept the

food off the table, at the same time ripping my clothes

off and then proceeded to make passionate love to me on the

tabletop. It was terrible."

"What was terrible?" said the doctor, "was the sex not good?"

"Oh no doctor, the sex was the best I've had in 25 years,

but I'll never be able to show my face in McDonald's again."

The question of many; “Are we bad because of our forefathers or parents”? This blog is for a very dear friend that was “judged” by someone because of who her parents were. The answer to the question is “no”. The scripture that backs this up can be found in the conversation God has in the book of Ezekiel, in the Old Testament. Chapter 18 which deals with the “equity of God”. The chapter starts out with God asking the prophet Ezekiel about the old proverb of the children being blamed for the sins of their fathers. Now God told Ezekiel that this proverb should never be used ever again. He goes on to say in vs.4 “Behold, all souls are mine”… This is a very powerful message to everyone that believes or not. To those that say they have sold their soul to Satan, I say….how can you sell something that don’t even belong to you in the first place?? Now back to the subject. The chapter will open your eyes as to the fact God does not count it against you for what your parents did. It is a matter of your personal choice as we find in vs. 19. God is answering Ezekiel’s question…”Yet say ye, Why? Doth not the son bare the iniquity of the father? Now the answer directly is found in the next vs. “The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him”.  Again my friends, this is a personal choice we all have. We can follow in our parents footsteps if we choose, or if something inside says this don’t seem right, we can follow our God given spirit to be righteous before our Heavenly Father, the choice is ours. But please read the whole chapter to receive the entire message the prophet Ezekiel has conveyed to us from God the Father. And yes, the bible also states, a bad fig tree cannot produce good fruit, and a good fig tree cannot produce bad fruit. This saying is used as an example of reproduction in nature. But in human nature, we have been given “free will”. A choice to change or not, it’s a matter of a thing called the circumcision of the heart.  As far as being judged by somebody else I will just say, is it your job?? The bible says otherwise, it’s God’s job, not yours. We are to edify and lead as necessary giving all glory to Our Heavenly Father. We are not even to judge ourselves…let alone others. And finally, never be afraid of being wrong about something. We are human and not perfect. Follow your heart; test the spirits that are about you as it is written we should do. A spirit that cannot confess that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God. I think this is found in St. Peter’s letters. And of coarse it is the truth if you stop and ponder it. We are not to premeditate what we are to say when we are delivered up before the counsel for the Holy Spirit will speak through us. To think about what we’re going to say beforehand is denying the Spirit. Not “can” but WILL you hear Me now?  In the past week I have been confronted with a few questions and replies, from where am I going and I’m not sure if I’m doing the right thing or not. Tears and smiles both. This is a story of how to “listen” to your heart, not your head. I am not talking about meditation here. I am talking about a one on one conversation with our Creator, our Heavenly Father, God. Through His only begotten Son Jesus Christ, who paid the phone bill in full, so we would have a direct wireless connection to the Father at all times. When Jesus was crucified on the cross the veil was rent from top to bottom, rent means “ripped”. This was to allow everyone that believes on him to come on in to the Kingdom of the Father. No more blood sacrifices required, the door is open. We pray always and leave it up to God and go our way in our daily work with the faith and hope of him hearing our prayers. Thank you Father for being the Master of Multitasking. Where we fall short is in the “listening” to his reply. He has a very soft voice, and is real, if we slow down and just be still a moment to hear him. He loves to “chat” with his children, and carry on a normal conversation with us, if we listen. When we pray, don’t fall into those repeated words, be personal, just as if he was right there and you need not speak out loud even, he hears our thoughts, and then be silent totally, he will answer and you will be amazed at how easy it can be to talk to Our Father. You know the sequence of events that need to take place for this to happen. First we confess with our voice, Jesus Christ as our “personal” Lord and Savior. Then he gets to know us and confess us to His Father and returns, sending us His Holy Spirit that stays with us for ever, known as the Comforter. This is the one doing the talking, if you are not sure it is him, try him. He is the only one that can say I am Jesus Christ come in the flesh, the devil can’t say that. But will try to imitate anything else he can. This is why the verses in Rev. say, let those that have ears to hear…hear what the Spirit says to the churches. Not man. And out of the 7 churches only 2 were approved, that taught the false Christ comes first, and the written word of God line by line and chapter by chapter. Not a few verses and then on with the show. This is not a once or twice a week thing, it is “daily”.  It might take a little while to learn but the reward is Heavenly. I don’t claim to be anything other than one of Gods children. I just do the typing, He does the talking…………. All Glory and credit go to God. Tell him how much you love him and always pray in the name of Jesus Christ   Amen.
