Our pastor took this shot and the words came to me. Let the scene and the words take you to a land that is enchanting and unbelievably beautiful in God's sight.
Just take the photo in for now. Sit back and look at it and then again read the lines without the waterfall. Here is the photo by itself. Can you see the innate beauty here? There is a remarkable configuration of colors, textures, and elements. All coming together to reveal the grandeur that is God's creation in the rawest sense possible. His creation, our stewardship. Now the words without the photo. Read them, know them, understand the impact this scene had on the writer. Consider what impact the waterfall had upon you and comment. The sky so clear and pollution free, clouds gently blowing by. Layers of color, a tapestry from the pallet that He works with. Rolling hills alive with flora and fauna, nourised by His care. Tiny bushes beginning their ascent in growth, rooted in rich soil, cultivated by the very hands of God. The falling waters at the top, appearing as if out of thin air. Following a path carved out by the water that has come before. A trickle at first, and then a rivulet, flowing into the basin formed over the years. Being filled by two sources, and when the basin is filled, the falling does begin. Water following the path that gravity dictates as it leaves it's perch and soars out into the air. See the strength in these rocks. See the age. Carved, smoothed, and caressed by the loving Lord who knows why all things are created. Free fall begins here! Oh the sounds to be heard. Splash! Water falling into the next layer. Gurgle, the water moving and giving praise to the Lord in a voice that He knows so well. In His care, the waters do ride the rocks to the pool below. Swish and swirls, the water being collected and distributed in the pool, ready for those who will receive the refreshing drink from His bowl. Starlet's from the silver screen, Taking the reigns of life serene. A hole between the eyes, Resembles a sci-fi giantess. Larger than life, but yet vulnerable. Each with a story to tell, palapable. Ten ladies and a dog, all visions of the past, Still lifed with the artists strokes, alive at last.
Starlets ripped from the silver screen and immortalized anew aqui.

Relax, Mellow, Ah by Steve Cope 12-27-2010 Sunny Sunday LWHP
Resting after the presents are unwrapped. Etching the eyes with sawing logs of rest. Letting the world drift out of sight, in silence rapped. A noise, a falling object, a startled wakening not best. X marks the spot and anew the sleep does come.
Medium present, small present, precious are they all, Extracated from the shelves with tender care, well some. Letting the thrill of the hunt and after Christmas enthrall. Lean upon or call on me, and know to you I will come. Over the years we can see that there have been toils 'tis true, Working hard to create a niche, a place, a home, a crew.
Relax, the world is still spinning out of control. Mellow we'd best be about it all, don't you know.
All that we can really do is rest after the storm, Have the courage to get up again, and the world inform,
"Relax cold cruel world, I'm not going to give into your foils. I'm going to mellow out for now and drink this my good 'ole Dr. Pepper. Ah!" My entry: https://myboomerplace.com/groups/view/id_495/

The color of blue As across the sky the bird flew. The art of writing, And the hearts of others sighting.
The peace of a quiet day, With nothing to do but play. The feel of the gentle breeze, My discomfort to ease.
The smell of freshly cut wood, Used to build a neighborhood. The sounds of turtle doves, Sharing the world with their life-time loves.
Rhonda, my wife, my life, my everything. Second only to the Great I Am, the King. Singing a new song of praise and grace, Even when others think my voice I should'nt raise.
Writing with pen and ink, or tapping on the keys, Enabling me to contribute to others through the days. There are just a few of my favorite things, For to record them all would take paper by the reams.

The Magic of Poetry by Steve Cope 11-29-2010 The words flow and it's off to the show. There's little more to do then X’s and O’s Though not like in football, or other sports, These X’s and O’s bring pleas, and exhorts. Write! Write! Write! Come on and let's do it right. Take up that pen, that ink sword, Don't let the reader ever become bored. My words, your words, working together To form the plumes of a gooses feather. Bringing humor, after the exhortation, And changing the tone, like teleportation. The magic of poetry is within the heart of the writer. Are you feeling this magic, that is bringing love much brighter? Watch it though, you don't really know, The direction can change, much like rain into snow. Ah but alas, I'm a sucker when I think about my purple princess lass. There is the magic of poetry, the love that is meant to last, oh what a blast! The ups, down, toils, foils, and hard times too. Paling in intensity when at last we are again one pair, watching Smack Down or at the zoo. Poetry, the Magic of, Sometimes it fits like a glove. Poetry, the Magic of, It's all about the love. Write on! Copenator out!
