What do you think of when someone says "Ireland". Do you think of castles, beautiful scenery, fairies, ghosts, pubs? I always think of castles first and know that centuries-old castles and battle fields hold many secrets...and definitely a few ghosts.
Would you like to spend the night in a haunted castle, visit an abbey or two and see who is hanging out there? Ghost sightings have been reported in many castles and manors.
Malahide Castle, Dublin
Malahide Castle has a very long and sometimes, dark history. Being 800 years old has contributed much to its haunted reputation.
There are many unseen ghosts which are felt in the castle's many rooms. It is said that the castle has at least five ghosts.
