They're in a rehab facility right now. He fell at home on August 18...@ 7 am. He doesn't look good..if he wants to get better, he's going to have to change his sedentary lifestyle. I see the same pattern he's in now that his wife had..and she passed May a year ago. It saddens me to see so many older folks just simply give up and trust a broken system. He lives 21 miles N of us, so it's an hour commute there and back. Thank you for asking about him. His name is Doug..he turned 80 in June.

How are you ?

I don't know about the weather at yours...here we 've got sunshine ...and 22° C...

Early this morning, the fog was so thick you could cut it with a knife... the grass is still wet, even though it's noon.

My Indian Runner ducks love it... because the slugs have come out to enjoy the moisture... Yum, yum—tasty stuff... lol

Anyway, the weather is pleasant: sunny, not too hot, and the ground is nice and moist.

Everything Mother Nature loves at this time of year.

This lovely weather doesn't stop me from feeling sad, though... I just can't come to terms with losing Pompon.

I wander around my garden, completely alone... no furbaby to keep me company...
