Through acrid smoke and falling dust,
When courage was a silent must,
They moved through ash on padded paws.

The extended weather forecast is showing cooler temps this time next week. I got some yard work done earlier. Put up a few more fall decorations. Also ordered a new fall wreath for the front door. It should come tomorrow. The kitty krew is doing well. Jellybean and Pepper usually come in at night. As it gets cooler, they'll stay in longer. Wishing you a wonderful weekend ahead...

hello Pam! we ended up with an inch and a half of rainfall yesterday, over several hours, so a good slow rain, which we needed so badly, it's been way back in June (IF I remember right) since we had a little bit of rain. Nothing for today, going to hit around 103 for a high though. Looks like we'll be having those temps a lttle longer. I go to the stores and all the warm clothes for winter are out...it's hard to think I should buy something for COLD weather when it's still in the 100's here! LOL! I hope you enjoy the weekend ahead!
