for most people this is a wonderful time of year filled with family gatherings and holiday cheer.for some its a sad time of year i fall into this catagory.i am single and i have no kids nor do i have any family.i do my best to put on a brave face in front of others so i dont ruin their holiday cheer.but to be honest every year my heart just breaks not knowing how it feels to have a loving family around for the holiday season.i work in retail so im bombarded each day with christmas music and seeing familys shopping and what not.and each year it gets a little harder for me to cope with the depression.but i try to keep my thoughts and my emotions in check around others.
