What a voice! And it captures my melancholia of Summer's end ~Enjoy!
Looks
like this year, thankfully, we're having a more typical ongoing warmth
into Autumn. Last year, unusually, we had a freeze on the 1st day of
September and an even colder one on the first day of Autumn brrrr! but
thankfully, again, not this year! Even the leaves on the trees are still
green! i will continue to swim, fish and boat until it is just too
cold.
We
rented a 22 foot ski boat Thursday and had a little fun. However, it
was rather windy and made the water choppy until we got back toward the
end of a cove at the end of another cove lol where the water was
tranquil and the wind blocked by surrrounding cliffs and steep hills.
Then on our way back, it was even more windy and it became so choppy i
asked Bully Dad to put on a life jacket. He hesitated and i exclaimed
"When the captain tells you to put on a life jacket, you do what you do
it then ask questions later!" i was unsure if we were going to make it
back to Indian Point's dock before they closed ~the choppy waves were up
to three feet high and had white foam on the tops. It all turned out
fine but driving in the fierce wind on the way back gave me a little
wind burn on my face ~but no sun burn! YAY
