Viewing 1 - 3 out of 3 Blogs.
It is true, I am not a regular here. The woman who introduced me here to this place became a very good and close intimate online friend and we didn't use My Boomer Place very often anymore as a pace to 'meet'. She recently died after a stupid accident at home and her death shocked me deeply. But sometimes I have a look here and when something simple like post a video fails - like a youtube video and I get the error message: you need to use a YouTube url - the enthousiasm of trying to go on here is soon gone. For the ones curious here is the URL:

Yes: I still feel like a 'newbee' here but I already have met some interesting friends and in one of my sweet friends blogs I read she stopped blogging just because this is not relly 'her thing'.
I understood very well what she meant but this also kept me thinking: I am not a very good blogger - I do know what I want or think but writing blogs in English is not that easy for me because English is not my first language and what I know of it is self-educated - but I also remember very clearly I met the most lovely person thinkable by commenting on her blogs in Multiply. So blogs can be a useful instrument to let people know who you are and where you stand for. An addition to the space Boomer created for us to tell more about ourselves.
In Multiply I showed a lot of myself in the music I posted with numerous albums of not always very well known bands and artists. In a few posted blogs or photo alums I told my friends a bit more about myself or the place where I live. Do you want me to continue this?
This evening I created this "MyBoomerPlace" account, invited by my best friend ever. The coming days I will have to find out how this site works and how to use all the possibilities of this community medium. Thank you darling, for your sweet invitation! John
