making this trip

just one more time

i wouldnt, if i didnt have too

but she said, i had to come for him

if i wanted to see him

and for that little boy of mine

i would travel the world itself

just to be there by his side

and see him grow

well these are the tears

that a father cries

even thou you dont see them 

but i know that they are really there 

because i've cried them

well lonely hearts only cry

and dream of days gone by

and what a lonely way to die

without your son beside you

well im wiping these tears

away from my eyes

cus soon, i wont have to cry

he'll be old enough to come out and say

daddy i want to stay

but until then 

i'll be making this trip

just one more time

ok here it is, i some times write love n licks. know this, its not bad or nasty. when my youngest son was about 4-5 years old, he would go up to his mom and kiss her and then he would lick her face. they would laugh so beautiful, so thats what. love n licks means....... hope i didnt upset anyone with it.....
