This morning I decided to take a train to the countryside and have a picnic with my eldest son. We took a hike up and down the mountain and enjoyed potato salad sandwiches. Being with my son in that moment felt oh so very fulfilling and all I could think was that all my hard work that I had completed and toiled through in my past was all worth it to be here with my son, soaking up the rays of the sun on brilliant green grass.
