Thanks to my friend Pinuplover for the great birthday gift! You're the tops baby! ;) Stewardesses..they always know how to help me get my tray in the upright position. On May 15, 1930 on a United Airlines flight between San Francisco and Cheyenne, WA, Ellen Church became the first airline stewardess. (On the same day in 1940 nylon stockings went on sale for the first time in the United States!) Thanks Jack!! ;)
