Any Bourne movie or Pirates of the Caribbean; humorous but not stupid; mystery movies. I'm no longer interested in "Love Story"-type movies.

60's & 70's; Elvis

I no longer read long books very often (vision problems, I think), but I do like historical novels based on fact (Nicholas and Alexandria, The Far Pavilions, etc.)

Scrapbooking; stained glass; knitting; sewing; my yard (until I get out of this house and get a home with little or no yard); grandchildren

I earned a teaching degree many years ago but "retired" when I got married. I retired officially from my most recent job on 6/30 of this year after working for 20 years for Northwest Farm Credit Services as a Financial Specialist (glorified secretary). I think I'm pretty easy-going and fairly intelligent. I've been widowed for almost 10 years and I have 4 children and 5 grandchildren, all of whom live close by. My only son and his wife live in FL. I used to enjoy camping but have had little opportunity since my husband died. I follow my grandchildren in their sports and other activities.
