Ok, I am not really a hippie, but my kids think that I am because I have a very laid back personality. I do have some friends who are real hippies and live almost off the grid. My husband is French and an Engineer. I met him on the Internet about fourteen years ago and he is a total nerd. He likes to talk nerdy to me. Opposites do attract... My kids are my life. They were raised to think for themselves. Now that they are older I have to find new friends. All my friends are younger so here I am trying to relate with my peers.
