I really enjoy occasionally finding time to cozy up on the sofa with a good book. I mostly read the Bible, Mysteries, Documentaries, or anything with a interesting twist. Some of my favorite authors are Jane Austen, Kate Chopin, and Zora Neale Hurston.
HOBBIES
My daughter-in-law and myself enjoy making specialty cakes. We make cakes for showers, birthdays, weddings, anniversaries and grooms cakes. I also like gardening,fishing,cooking,oil painting,four wheeler riding, and just being outside enjoying nature.
Welcome to my page everyone! I am a happily married Southern girl who enjoys country living at its best. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 34 years. We are very proud parents of two kids, Natasha and Chris. Together, hubby and I have a beautiful granddaughter named Izabell. We call her Izzy and she is the love of our lives. She stays with me while her Mom and Dad are at work. I have a cake business with my daughter-in-law, Celeste. Our business is called K&K Kakes and Stuff. We make specialty cakes for all occasions. I really enjoy doing that. We have a 6 yr old doggie named Odie. He is also our pride and joy! I am a simple Christian person who loves God and respects those around her. I love nature and enjoy being outdoors. My husband was diagnosed with Diabetes 3 years ago, and it has presented new challenges for us. Through God all things are possible. I pray for a cure. Hanging out with my family is a treasure to me. BBQ's, swimming, fishing, long nature walks, 4 wheeler ridin with the family is my true Southern definition of Summer. God has certainly blessed my life.
