I am a happily married guy (36 years now!). I have realized in the last 10 years or so that in order to enjoy life, you have to enjoy it... Experience the NOW! I retired about 2 years ago to finish our home in Vt so we could both move back there permanently. I am doing all the work myself, from the design to putting up drywall, wiring, etc. Learning a lot and enjoying it a lot as well.
I am also polyamorous and have a deep relationship in addition to my marriage. I believe in giving as much love as each of us is capable of giving (and receiving!). I feel that we as a society too easily accept 'normal' as 'the only way' and am learning to decide for myself what is right for me as I go through life.

Not looking for another relationship, really, but do enjoy connecting with people and learning from them, sharing what life has brought each of us and celebrating it together.
