Married 61 years, two children, five grown g'children, and a li'l kitty, Miss Darby, a 10yo Turkish Van (never heard of that one). Our vet, whose shelter we adopted this tiny thing from, gave us no warning, but we soon knew something was up. I googled breed temperament: 1st paragraph, "Put away breakables if you have a Turkish Van in the house." ummm... too late. Geeez, our grey-striped tabby cats were sane:) It's been a 10-yr adventure with lotsa love for li'l girl Darby aka 'Dobbie-Dobbie'. She's settling in quite nicely as she ages. lol Li'l Darby Girl:

"ANIMALS... in a world far older than ours, finished and complete, gifted with extensions of the senses we have lost or never attained, live by voices we shall never hear." -Henry Beston 1928
