the   big  birds are behaving   differently  this  winter   ..maybe trying to find  the  warmth....

one  poor  tawny  owl..  flew into  an  extractor  fan   in a hotel  ...in  York ..[north England]

 got into  a mess..he fell in  and  got ....wedged..the  RSPCA  came to rescue  him. hearing  a noise....and gave him  a *Good   bath ,,,he was  greasy...:(   poor   owl...

they   do  fly  low........i have seen a snowy  owl  fly over the bonnet /front of my car   in scotland

hope he flew off  back to his  friends x!!

I think  swans   fly  near  water,,,but  not often  ,,beautiful  birds

one poor   bird  strayed  off route...by the  river  trent  north   England  nr  nottingham...altho it  was  stormy  weather..and maybe blew  ,,this lady  swan..however  ,,poor  thing  flew into a bathroom  window,,,,with a big Bang.....scaring the owner  downstairs  a  78 yr old  lady,,,, having  her  coffee..!!c[_]....frightening for  both parties  ,,,they opened the  door  ,,the  bird  was  on the floor  ...his  head  up...the  RSPCA  inspector  came to  pick  her  up,...she had to  have a broken wing,,,fixedd up..and many  stitches...she is  expected  to  recover  soon!! poor  thing xx....  what  a story  to  tell  her  family of  swans  later!!.....a very unusual  occurrence    ..hope  the  house  insurance paid up  for  a new  window,,[in winter]...for   jean  .the  owner~~~~~
