"Love is considered the most basic emotion
that human awareness can feel; therefore,
it is the closest to the source of life.
The burst of well-being you feel when
you fall in love is
due to the fact that
you unconsciously open the channels
of awareness that allow more Prana
[Life Force] to flow."
- Deepak Chopra from Ageless Body, Timeless Mind
The whole world is a door of liberation,
inviting us to enter.
ZEN
The Richness of mindfulness
Mindfulness is not only a technique or
practice, but is concerned with the quality
of wakeful presence and the willingness to
learn that we bring each moment in our lives.
It is saturated with sensitivity and
curiosity, with the willingness to
make peace with all moments and all
things, and the deep wish to be free
wherever we are. Mindfulness
illuminates all things and all
activities. It encourages
engagement and participation
in each moment, and brings
profound understanding and awakening.
It is deeper than a passing experience,
but it embraces all experiences
without prejudice, finding balance
and steadiness in the extremes of
our lives.
Mindfulness is not elaborate it is
simplicity, it tells us to simply
pay attention to ourselves and
everything around us in this moment.
Pay attention to the here and now,
forget about the past it is gone and
over with and don’t worry about the
future because it is not here yet.
Life is much simpler to deal with
the task at hand and enjoy the
moment you are in.
We can live a life of countless
“lost” moments. Leaning back into
the past or forward into the future,
we forget where we are. Lost in the
addictive power of our thoughts,
daydreams, and fantasies we forget
to listen, to see and to touch.
Lost in our words, we forget to
listen. This world of forgetting
is the inner and outer world of
complexity that suffocates
simplicity and sensitivity.
Mindfulness rescues us from a
forgotten life, teaches us to be
present and engaged, concerned
less with what is happening and
more with how we are present in
all moments. We learn to
recollect ourselves, to gather our
attention and bring a wholehearted
presence to each moment.
Mindfulness is a shortcut to happiness.
Our Creator said:
Have no regrets, beloveds. Let them go.
There is life now, and people now. You live in a moving stream. You are moving your raft of life now. Go merrily. Do not try to backtrack. Do not try to erase or add or rewrite. If you feel you have a wrong to right, make life right right now.
Years ago you misspelled a word or used a word you wouldn’t now. It is not for you to worry about misspellings or choice of words or even actions from ago. Take care of this moment of universal time. Do this for Me, beloveds. No more attaching to errors of the past, yours or others’. All errors have already gone down the drain. The Universe has forgotten them, and so must you.
Your very recognition of error tells you that you have gone beyond. Let that be enough. Notice a fact, and then go past it. You have already gone past it. Be glad then. Do not adopt remorse. It is not a good thing to do. Remorse is an enabler of guilt. Remorse and guilt are twin brothers. They are hanger-ons. They would have you stay stuck in what you left long ago.
Once you stole jam from the jar in your mother’s cupboard. That was your consciousness then. Your awareness is different now. Be glad for that. Do not make much of what was once big and now is small. Even if you committed an egregious error, it is small now because it can only be seen from a distance. Why look back? The worse the error was, the more you have to let go of it. If you are not proud of it, then don’t keep it in front of you. If you are proud of an action from the past, make a new action to be proud of now. But, in truth, be neither proud nor sorry.
Once you had a red wagon. It served you well. Spend not time missing the red wagon and wondering what happened to it. The red wagon was a symbol of your childhood. The red wagon and your childhood had their prime. It is not now.
The same with lost loves. They were your dream come true once, or your dream not come true once. Create new love and scoop it out generously. Be the pourer of love now. That is better than all the remembered loves in the world.
And, of course, if you still carry resentments from the past, they have to be left where they were. It’s important that you leave them and have no more to do with them. If they are held to you by a thick rope, cut that rope now. Keep not a thread.
In a sense, there is no difference between resentment and remorse. Resentment is against others. Remorse is against yourself. No longer be against anything from the past. Be for now, right now, and then let go of that too because, soon enough, it is the past. Hold on to nothing. Help the past to go. Give your welcome past a fond goodbye, and kick out your unwelcome past as if it were a football.
The thing is that the past is done with you. Now you be done with the past. Undo those nails that have kept the past in place. The past is no longer integral to you. You are free from it. You have always been free from it except you thought the past was good to keep. The past is good to let go of. Let go now. What energy you will renew! Shrug off the past, beloveds. It was never yours to keep.
Well I have put this off long enough I guess I should let people know what I am about! I am a writer and a graphic designer, I own my own business but it has been slow lately, I have been sticking to writing my novels. I am an honest and down to earth person with a huge heart! I would not change anything about the life I have led because we have to learn from trial and error. I have grown much wiser from all of my mistakes and I am better for it. I am always very happy and ready to try new things. I do not like negative people at all. I don't care for smart asses either. Someone with class is more my style. I do not waste my time on people who dramatize everything I can't stand drama.
My idea of a good time is (Go on and finish it for me:D). The biggest mistake people make is to try and make someone something they are not. I was raised with acceptance and grace by my beautiful mother (God rest her soul!)I have been accused of being a hippie and a flower child. I have never grown out of that status and I am so glad to be me!
I look at life like it is my oyster and I do what I want and be who I am, I don't expect anything from anybody. I love life even with its terrible times because if we did not have terrible times we would not grow into each other!
I generally get along with just about anyone as long as they do not carry negative vibes with them, Negativity is a pet peeve of mine, it pisses me off and turns me off! Anyone wishing to be a friend leave a message and we shall see what the future holds. I am a huge advocate for children that have been abused. I do not tolerate children being abused that even goes for teasing them. I help with children when ever I get a chance, it is usually daily. Children need guidance, love, respect, and acceptance first and foremost. I have found that children bring me more joy in my life than anything else ever has!
Children have pure souls and we can learn a lot from them.
Hug a child today!
I am a romantic at heart and a lover of eroticism.
I love to cook, go fishing, camping out, ride Harleys, hiking, flying, and skinny dipping. Cooking out on the grill is the best! I love to swim. The museum district is a favorite of mine here in Houston, The Kansas City museums are pretty fabulous too. Oh one more thing I lost my religion a long time ago I am however very spiritual (religion is mind numbing and holds everyone back). If you have a question just ask! Have a wonderful life! Thank You for visiting and spreading the word of peace!
What is so hard to understand? Peace is all there is. . .
