I used to love to read, but since I have lost the sight in one eye, I do not read very much anymore, just the larger print books. I love some of the mystery books by James Patterson

Cooking, sewing and piecing quilt blocks are favorites. Being out in the travel trailer (camping or traveling,) is another one.

I was raised on a farm in Central Illinois. I married and raised 3 boys.I owned a Fabric shop for 15 years, sold and repaired sewing machines along with selling fabric.. I also taught most of the classes we had to offer.Sewing, Quilting, and Smockingto name a few. I dearly loved it, I could not compete with the discount store when it came to town, so I had to close. Then for 15 years, I transported special needs childen to a large college town-- about 30 miles away-- for special schooling.

I like being with people. Everyone has a different outlook on everything. I can learn somethng from everyone. I enjoy my home. I love music and I love to travel.

I am not very fond of people who do not discipline and train their dogs. I love dogs, but,just because some peoplel love to hear their dog bark doesn't mean that I love to hear them bark, espically at 5:00 AM.
