I love so many movies. I love TV, especially crime shows, ER, Grey's Anatomy, Lifetime TV, A&E, HGTV, Foodnetwork, Days of our Lives, news channels. My favorite movies are "Legends of the Fall", "Gone With The Wind", "Shawshank Redemption", "Dances With Wolves", "Roots", "The Color Purple", "Meet Joe Black", "Seven", and "The Ten Commandments". Those are just a few of my favorities. There are just too many to name.

I like classic rock, country, some blues guitar (Stevie Ray Vaughn), hip hop, some rap, R&B, soul. I love it all except bluegrass. I do like some bluegrass music, but I can't stand the whining and the singing thru the nose crap. I grew up listening to country and rock. In our house, music was a big part of our lives. Now, I can't carry much of a tune, but I do love to sing in the shower and my truck. I'm alone, of course, because if anyone was listening they would bail out. LOL!!!

I enjoy reading some poetry, but it has to make sense to me because I don't have all day to think about what it means. I love romance novels, mysteries, dramas, biographies, historical novels. I don't read much anymore though because nursing school burned me out on reading. My favorite book was called "Follow The River". It's
a historical novel about Mary Ingalls, who was a local heroine in the Kanawha Valley. It is about her abduction by Indians in the 1700's and how she escaped and made her way home by walking and following the Ohio and Kanawha rivers home. I read that book about 8 years ago, but I can still tell details of the book. It made a huge impression on me.

I'm divorced with a 15 year old son, who I adore. I am a registered nurse and have been for 10 years. Before I became a nurse, I was a portrait photographer. My interests include my son, my cat, animals, people, and my family. I enjoy going to the movies, dinner, sporting events, concerts, traveling, music, fishing, and I love the ocean. I want to retire somewhere near a beach.

Men who are responsible, honest, caring, sensitive, blue eyes, a guy that will dance with me, hard working, a man who cares about my feelings, a man who could tolerate my cat and my son, intelligence, men who embrace diversity, laughter, oh, and did I mention HONESTY???!!!!

DRUGS - crack in particular, alcoholics, I don't smoke, but I could tolerate a social smoker, hairy backs, dishonesty, laziness, people who won't take care of their families and walk off and leave all the responsiblities on the other parent, ARROGANCE, racisim, liars, cheaters, and thieves. That about covers it.
