I love movies that do something to me - quiet dramas, touching stories or strong female roles. No action thrillers, rather something for the heart and head. My favorites are:
“Like a single day” (The Notebook)
“Breakfast at Tiffany's”
“The fabulous world of Amélie”
“Little Women” (2020)
“The Song of the Crayfish”
And to be honest: old black and white movies also have something magical for me
I don't need popcorn - good dialog is enough.

I like music that touches you - whether it's quiet singer-songwriter pieces, German-language lyrics with feeling or old classics. I particularly like listening to:
Annett Louisan, Clueso or Philipp Poisel
Gentle indie sounds like Damien Rice, Agnes Obel or Lana Del Rey
And sometimes just old hits from the 80s and 90s - to hum along to or dance to in the kitchen
Music is like a mood barometer for me - sometimes quiet, sometimes loud. I prefer to listen to German-language music with soul, a bit of indie and occasionally something familiar from the 90s.

Books have been with me since I was a child. I like to lose myself in quiet, sensitive stories - sometimes with quiet tragedy, sometimes with quiet hope. And I like books that you don't just read, but feel.
Books are like little journeys for me. I love stories that resonate with me - sometimes melancholy, sometimes hopeful. I love to read:
“The Song of the Crayfish” by Delia Owens
“The middle of the world” by Andreas Steinhöfel
“A whole half year” by Jojo Moyes
“Altes Land” by Dörte Hansen
Novels by Benedict Wells (especially “The End of Solitude”)
And sometimes also a bit of poetic non-fiction or biographies

Walks in all weathers
Books with soul (preferably literature & biographies)
Old movies & café culture
Vintage decor & soft music
Cooking when the mood strikes
Writing letters (old-fashioned, but beautiful)

I am not looking for quick adventures, but honest exchange. A little charm, an open heart and good manners are very welcome with me. Who knows - maybe it all starts with a simple “hello”?

Hi, my name is Clara, I was born in the Palatinate (Ludwigshafen) but have been living in Frankfurt for a few years now - both privately and professionally. The city is sometimes noisy, but it has a lot to offer. I enjoy both: the hustle and bustle of the big city and the peace and quiet when I get home.
I love good conversation, little escapes into nature and the quiet moments in everyday life. Kindness, respect and a bit of humor are more important to me than perfection. I'm new here and I'll be surprised what happens - maybe nice contacts, maybe a bit more.
