Sci-fi, Comedies, and a good Tear-jerker

Listen to just about anything depending on my mood at the time, but classic soft rock is my fav

anything that has been printed...lol

As to things I like to do, I like traveling, fishing, camping, reading, horseback riding, dancing, listening to music, walks on the beach (and I live close enough to one to mean it..lol), and most of all spending time with my special someone. I really am missing that last one. I keep fit thru my work and enjoy doing that type of exercise.

I moved to Florida from Indiana in January. I was helping to run a family manufacturing business there for the last 25 yrs. I grew dissatisfied with the whole thing and decided to do something worthwhile. Hence the reason I worked in the Americorps program (which ended in November). I have now begun working as a Resident Ranger at Wekiwa Springs State Park. :-)


I am a kind and considerate type of guy (I’m the type who opens doors for strangers). I’m intelligent(--- see, I spelled it correctly), have a good sense of humor, like the outdoors, and in a social setting tend to be quiet and reserved.



While I can enjoy the material things money can buy, I have found that 'living' life is more important to me. I live modestly (the one picture above will tell you how modestly atm while working with Americorps..lol) and would rather spend my money to experiance the world around me.

For all those who would like to know where the 'beep' Sorrento is, it's about 20 miles north of Orlando, between Mt. Dora and Sanford :-)
