I enjoy flea markets, thrift stores, yard sales, musical theater, travel, weekend getaways, entertaining friends at home (I love my condo), amusement parks, hiking, sunbathing, the beach,and exploring new places. I am very active and enjoy living life.
I was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. I went grades 1-6 at DuPont, 7 at Donnelson, 8-10 DuPont High School and 11 & 12 at Madison High School where I graduated in 1965. After high school I went to work for a year. I went into the Navy in 1966 and spent 3 1/2 years in the Pacific and Viet Nam aboard the USS Mansfield DD 728. I was married in 1968 before leaving the Mansfield. After I left the Navy in September of 69 I split with my wife. In 1970 I came out of the closet and became an entertainer and worked as a female impersonator for many years in addition to a regular daytime job. I moved to Silicon Valley (San Jose, Ca) in 1975 where I continued entertaining and started working within the community doing fund raising.
My years from 1977 to 1987 were very active partying years. I used alcohol and cocaine to feel good about myself.
On September 25, 1987 I got clean and sober and have been so since.
I was twice elected by the community of San Jose to represent them as The Pink Flamingo Empress 17&22 and travel to other communities helping them to raise money for charities as well as putting on functions within San Jose to support our local charities.After getting my act together, I purchased a condo in San Jose where I lived until the end of 2000. In Oct of 2000 I moved to Las Vegas where I purchased a larger condo and currently live. I am currently working in customer service as a quality assurance agent for travel and am looking forward to retirement in a few years. In April of 2009 I came out of retirement to start performing again with the FOCUS group at the Spotlight Lounge here in Vegas. We raise money to help those who are living with AIDS and perform the third Friday of each month. You may wonder why I tell my life story here. It is all that I have been through in the past that makes me the better person I am today. I hope to make some new friends here and meet that special someone. I am very independent, honest to a fault, affectionate, caring, loving, openly gay, responsible, and very monogamous in a relationship. I'm a hopeless romantic who knows there is someone out there for me, it's just a matter of time. My favorite sayings are "Life is a rollercoaster....enjoy the ride." and "Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, and today is a gift..that's why they call it the "present".
