Friday was a perfect 80° day. Today, Saturday, it will be 70°. Sunday it will be 75°. Take your pick, which is your favorite? In the sun yesterday, it felt like 90°. I was in the shade with a light breeze for 2 hours talking on the phone to my daughter and then I was in the sun watering and talking to plants for about 45 minutes. It is what I consider a perfect day!
These two pictures were taken about a minute apart. Mr. Cardinal and Mrs. Cardinal were both visiting our feeder. Love birds are in the air!
I have about 3, maybe more, Strawberry plants that have been under our plastic "greenhouse". Yes, I ate all 4 delicious, juicy strawberries! There are buds on all the strawberry plants and even newly forming strawberries.
I was so surprised when our plants were uncovered! Look at the beautiful colors! Happy plants! Happy ME! Rbt is happy I don't have to buy too many new plants! And yet, he knows I will.
After all, these hanging baskets have been hanging there for many months. They are not real plants. So they look good all year round in the rain, sun, wind and freeze!
Good evening, Cheryl I bet your manicotti & blonde brownies were delicious Happy Friday to you also it was a little warmer here today but not for long because we're getting an artic blast this weekend and it's going to be brutally cold all weekend Ceil & I made chicken /w pepper jelly & rice /w corn for supper tonight Ceil & I don't have any plans for the weekend we're just going to stay inside where it's warm & cozy you take care my friend.
A busy week, but looking forward to a quiet weekend. I made a stir fry for supper. Had to get groceries too today. Warming up over the next few days. Enjoy your weekend.
Boyd&I had a good week. We loss another Sister-in-the-Lord, last week. Funeral tomorrow. Then our church always holds a dinner for the family. Meatloaf is prepared, just have to bake it in the morning. Be safe if you have snow around you!! We have 31 degrees here F. Heat wave!! Hugs Shirley

just getting around to sending comments out, I hope your day has been a good one...it's going to be a beautiful weekend for us! AND I get to start back to walking out around the lake...doctor said I need to do that now to see how well my knee will hold up after my surgery.
We were gone for 5 hours today. We went to Costco. Then stopped at HEB for a pick up order we placed. Came back to the house to put frozen things away. Next we headed to the feedstore to get a 50# bag of dog food. We stopped to eat at our favorite Mexican Food restaurant, Big Taco Salad with queso for me and Enchiladas for Rbt. Last we went to WalMart to walk off our meal. Rbt is taking a nap! hehehe. We are 64° but the wind is blowing with a slight chill in the air! However, we do not have any freezing temperatures in the 7-10 day forecast. And our daily highs will be in the 60's & 70's. I am loving this weather but I do wish the nights/early mornings were a little warmer. Take care of yourself Cheryl! Love ya!
