Hey Cheryl..raining here tonight, but it ends early morning. Been busy getting office stuff moved into other room. Making headway..hubby has used half of our den for his office since early 2020. I'm excited to have more room in the den now. Cooler temps move in Thursday. Tomorrow we will see 74. The temps have been crazy. I haven't made anything since we will be eating out.

It's a beautiful sunny day here today, had my appt with the orthopedic doctor, she wants me to have another MRI of my knee, which I have scheduled for tomorrow evening at 6, she said if she had seen that MRI from last year, she would have done the surgury on my meniscus then! I go back to her on Tuesday, so we'll see what the new MRI shows, and she'll decide what kind of work needs to be done, but it will probably be done with only a laporscope (sp) and then physical therapy...YEA!
Good afternoon, Cherly It was warm outside earlier this morning but now it's cold outside and I had to turn the heat on. I make fudge for Christmas my husband made his harvest bread for the stuffing this morning and tomorrow he's going to make a pumpkin swirl cheesecake then on Thanksgiving Day we'll cook the rest of the meal Happy Thanksgiving from our home to yours. We eat Tacos even on Thanksgiving week! Especially since we have to run to an appointment before lunch. It will be an early morning because of construction and traffic.
Everyone in our area is out of school all week. So all the girls are getting together just to hang and have fun.
All the squirrels are out shopping for all the ingredients that they will need for a Thanksgiving day feast.
This is so me. I can cook a simple meal but it is NOT my strength... Now eating on the other hand, that is something I love to do!
I am a pretty good shopper too. I would rather be outside helping than inside cooking!
we had storms (LOUD thunder, lots of lighting too)since 2:30 this morning & got 2" of rain, looks like we won't be getting any more for a while... I hope you have a wonderful day my friend.

Good afternoon, Cheryl that's okay that you forgot to mention that you weren't going to be gone for the whole weekend so sorry that the weather wasn't nice for the funeral It was nice here yesterday it was in the high 40's-mid 50's and today the current temperature is 42* at 3:30 and for Thanksgiving Eve it's supposed to be near 60* and for Thanksgiving it's going to be very cold here and we might have snow flurries hope you enjoy the rest of your day Hugs Ceil
It's a good day to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather here. It will be a busy week preparing for Thanksgiving! I just love Thanksgiving and smelling the turkey cooking in the oven.

we enjoyed an early thanksgiving meal at my daughter's and son-n-laws house yesterday. we had a whole fried turkey and a smoked turkey breast, it had some kind of jalapeno sauce over it, but it wasn't hot or spicy, both were really good, and of course, lots of sides to choose from, green bean casserole, sweet potatoe casserole, homemade dressing, cranberry sauce and rolls...for dessert, a chosing of apple, and pumpkin pie, and pumpkin cheesecake bars...that's what we all ended up eating for dessert, the cheesecake bars, they were soo good! we just stayed a couple of hours, had a great visit with my grandson and his girlfriend. Had to drive home on country roads in the dark...LOL that part was scary, watching out for deer.. we did bring home a plate for today...so we're set....oink oink... I mean.. gobble til we wobble...LOL!
