Interesting thing about those critters, like the Cooper's Hawk. They do the job of those man pays to dispose of problem things, like snakes, for nothing more than a tasty meal, which they would have done anyway, because that is part and parcel of their existense! How do we say it? "Praise The Lord, or Mother Nature, as we are wont to call her...
GOOD MORNING, LOVE, HUGS & BLESSINGS, Ms. Deb, I pray YOU have a FANTASTICALLY FABULOUS FRIDAY, and a PHENOMINAL WEEKEND to follow, my friend...
Hi Deb - Haven't seen any hawks here at this house, but I've seen them at other places we use to live.. Don't like them at all.. They'll kill most anything.. They usually set high up in trees.. There were lots of doves at one place we lived because we fed birds, so there were lots of doves hanging around too.. Often I see them tore up in the yard, with nothing but gray feathers laying there.. Hawk would drive bomb them in the air mid flight.. Awful scene, Deb.. xx Darlene
Good afternoon to you. We got some rain--very light rain around 6:30 last night. It smelled so good. We have better chances over the next few days for rain. Its a very windy, SSW at 24 mph and very gusty. Its 84F, not bad but I could definetly do without the wind. I have made a doctor appoinment for tomorrow morning. Just not feeling good at all. Didn't go to physical therapy this afternoon cause I just didn't feel like it. I hope you are doing good and having a nice day. After I get done on here I will be going to take a nap. Enjoy the rest of your day my friend and take care.
When hawks are nearby, usually their food source is too. We see them here often, sometimes sitting on power lines. I saw several the other day driving down the main road from our house. The week has been a blur.
