What an occasional gift tree, Wanda! Do others in your neighborhood have fruit trees w/ occasional bees?? I used to love to can, but had to be in that particular mood to enjoy it. May you end up enjoying the labor, pal. I know you'll enjoy their beauty when jarred & hearing their "pings" as they seal. *hugs*

Thanks Di...we went out for lunch and I am now finishing laundry...Shortly after we moved in this house a neighbor gave us an apple tree to plant...we never got another fruit tree to put near it and I understand your suppose to always have another ..Only once in all the years we have been here were there apples we use..I made applesauce with it and gave them to the workers...Well we have a ton of apples again this year...picked a big bucket full but I really dont want to make anything but guess in the next couple of days I will have too..not canning them tho so will have to give them away if it turns out..lol..Enjoy your day my friend...hugs
A Saturday can be many things... a day ofworking, groceries, cleaning, visiting, game-day. However you spend it, be safe and wear a smile. Love this muted green, Wanda. Do you have plans for today? "They" say a cold front is on its way for very few days. I wonder if its my definition of "cold". ha Enjoy your weekend, dear friend. *hugs*.
We got 1.2" of blessed rain overnight and started the day at 61° this morning. Wanda now I am craving Watermelon. Guess I should go eat some fruit. Have a wonderful weekend!
Happy Caturday! My Goodness, where did the week go? I did get my page changed. So many of you have beautiful fall pages!
However, in the DFW area, we had Thursday and Friday summer temperatures of just over 100°. So I haven't gotten in a "Fall or Autumn" mood yet.
But today is a new day with a cool front supposed to arrive. Hopefully we won't see even the 90's for a week. The flowers are confused as to what season it is too.
As soon as breakfast is over, I will go out and check on all the flowers. I will share with you a beautiful yellow flower today and hope that more will bloom soon.
That is if the bunnies haven't eaten them all but maybe the dogs have chased all the bunnies from the backyard already.
Would you mind a beautiful mushroom instead of a flower? It does look a little more like fall after all. Now I am heading over to check out all the pretty new pages.
Here's looking at you and wishing you a weekend with lots of Blessings & Hugs! Pam
