It's Saturday!!! Did you stay up late last night? Are you a night person?
Mom, can you be a morning person and a night person? I am! I just don't need more than 7 hours of sleep and can function easily on only 6 hours of sleep.
Some people are just different. I do play catch up on sleep every once in a while but that is usually when I have only had 5 hours or less.
Lovely patchwork colors are always a good choice to view the world.
But every now and then Black & White can be a wonderful choice.

I took a walk on the "wild side" this morninig! LOL! I took my Cassie girl to the Texas Coalition for Animal Protection (TCAP for short) to get her teeth cleaned, and if any need pulling, they'll do that too. It's a place for low income families to take their pets for medical stuff. Today was also Feral Cat spade/neuter day, they took in 12 ferals for free services, then on the 19th, they will take 75 feral cats to be spade or neutered on that day. It's on a first come first serve bases. Today was dental work day so that's why they only allowed 12 feral cats. Cassie didn't like not getting her breakfast this morning plus she'll be mad when I pick her up at 3, but her mouth will feel so much better.

We attended a B.D. party and luncheon today. Our good friend, Betty turned 86 today. Her sister, Linda hosted it at her house. I baked the cake. Had a good time!! Her husband& 2 daughters and nieces were there. 57 degrees here this afternoon. Leftovers for supper here tonight! I cooked cubed steak& mushroom gravy and mashed potatoes&green beans last evening, plus baked the cake for Betty. Enjoy your evening Cheryl!! Hugs Shirley
Warm temps here still. Might see first frost Monday night, as we expect a low of 28. My impatients are still blooming. Bought them in mid April. Have two pots of pansies on the front porch. It's been a lazy week, but have enjoyed the down time. Enjoy the rest of your week..
Thursday is still a nice warm Fall day in our area. But there will soon be a chill in the air for the weekend.
I am not a winter person at all. Thank goodness we usually only have 6 weeks to 2 months of that season.
But I do love the colors of Fall, orange that is!
Now if we could just get some of that much needed rain it would be a perfect month.
