So pleased you had the rain that you wanted. Our year has been very dry too and we badly need good heavy rains. Well, it’s been rather a cooler day here with a fine misty rain that is quite useless. Have completed the vacuaming and packed away half of the summer clothing replacing with the warmer ones. Then had an appointment with the podiatrist. Back home now and thinking of dinner. We had rain this morning at 6 am.  There have been scattered showers all around since yesterday and is just about to clear our area.  In Bowie, where our daughter Wendy lives, they have had well over 12-15" in the last couple of weeks.  The dock at Amon Carter lake has been closed that long too.  Even my friends in Lubbock got almost 3" and it overflowed their Koi Pond.  They never get enough to have standing water but they have it now.  I forgot to check our rain gauge yesterday but I just checked it and we are right at 3".  We have been in the 50's the last few mornings with highs in the 70's.  We have had windows open lately but had to close them all last night.  Will reopen them tonight or tomorrow!  Thanks for the pictures you send and I still love that new dual recliner so much.  Tell Trey Happy Birthday for me!!!

Yes, we are being blessed with more rain today.  The lakes in the DFW area are almost all full.  

I think this has been the best May that I can remember, of course, I don't remember as much as I used to.  

Everything is green and full of color as far as one can see right now.  Well not today because it is cloudy and raining.  

Today everyone is driving in the rain and the swimming pools are overflowing!  

We will just say, "Thank you Lord for your timing on everything in our life!"

Good evening Cheryl...been meaning to ask you how Trey is doing...Have a good night my friend and stay safe from storms and flooding

Where in the heck did Monday go to?  I thought today was Friday, at least that is the last thing I remember!  

It was one of the most beautiful Spring weekends that I can ever remember!  It was from the mid 50's to the low 70s.  

This morning was nice enough, then the clouds moved in.  Guess what it has been doing for the last several hours.  

It is such a gentle rain that you can hardly see the drops.  We had thunder to start and then nothing but a light sprinkle.  

So as the daylight is already gone and the night gets darker, I don't think we will see stars in the sky or even many clouds.  We are supposed to have Thunderstorms starting about 4 am.  

So I will see you tomorrow with the same smile on my face, but hopefully a little earlier in the day!  Please share that smile with others around you.  Blessings & Hugs!  Pam

For the first time this spring the windows can be opened and let in the spring air throughout the home. The trees are budding and more of the flowers are coming out of the ground. Such a glorious season, SPRING. May your week be ever so kind to you. Smiles Gloria
