Saturday we had rain almost all day and we ended up with 2.5"! As soon as the yard dries out, the Labor begins! Mowing and Weed Eating!
I love rain, thunder and lightning! I love playing in it too! But I guess I could have dressed up for the photo opt.
I don't get dressed up for Labor Day because today should be a relaxing, do nothing kind of day. Oh wait, that is everyday!
No matter what you are doing today, share your love and your smile!
And maybe you will be one of the lucky ones to see fireworks from a distance and not have the loud noise that comes with the celebration.
Oh, by the way, my work days have changed and I am on hold for this week. I will keep you posted as I know what and when I will be working. Blessings & Hugs!
today... just breathe in God's gifts of nature...I love this time of the year, when nature starts to change, outdoor temps are going down, leaves will be changing soon...enjoy your Sunday!
I am usually up until 10:30pm. Wake up, whenever! Unless I have appointments or something to do!! This morning I woke up at 8am. I require more sleep, seems like! Might be the diabetes. But we have been watching our diet better since early July. I do not want to go on a needle!! You be careful and rest!! Hugs Shirley
I hope you have had a great week. The temps are cooling down and it feels so good.
My laptop is in the shop getting fixed, a hinge on it broke and its being replaced. not sure how that happened! So glad still have my old laptop to use even though its much sloooower!
Looking forward to the weekend and things slowing down, maybe!
Have a great night and a wonderful weekend. Hugs, Rhonda
Cheryl, you mentioned cheekbone? My sister-in-law, has been having pain in her jaw&ears sometimes. Something about the nerves in her face, I believe. We seldom go anywhere on holidays. Maybe a few miles to see, Boyd's brother or sisters. When we were working and able to traveled some. I got two of my vaccines, yesterday. One more to go. I hope you can rest and just rest! Be safe my friend! Crazies on the highways!! Shirley
Good Morning! Friday is always a happy day because the weekend is starting. Also we got 7/10" rain yesterday in a beautiful downpour.
Fridays just seem to be more fun because you know you don't have to get up early tomorrow morning. I still get up at the same time.
Summer is fading away slowly. We were in the 90's several days this past week. We even hit 100° yesterday but we hope to only be in the 80's today and for several more days to come.
A lot of my Cardinals look like this as the seasons begin to change. Once in a while a bright red male will show up, but most of them look faded now.
I did see some very colorful butterflies this past week too. Some yellow, some orange, and some blue ones. The Bees were very busy around some of the flowers too.
Now with the days getting shorter, some of the flowers are very happy. My Yellow Rose bushes had a bloom or two on each bush. So before the weekend starts be sure to enjoy
