I hope you enjoy this day, I'm going out to lunch with my daughter and her husband, and his aunt... I'm looking forward to seeing them, and getting out of the house for a bit.
What a way to spend a day off! Lots of noise and activity as we are getting a new roof due to hail damage earlier this year.
The only thing to do is put on some lipstick and find something to laugh about.
Yes, we had LOTS of fireworks all around our home. Glad we waited until today to replace the roof.
Come on now, we all know that person. It is probably a good friend. Just love them and listen a while.

It is so hot that we all deserve an ice cream! I think it would melt before I could give it to the guys on the roof. I think I'll take them water and eat their ice cream.

It's so hot and miserable out, I'm stuck inside most of the day, and I hate that, it just drags me down...I can't wait for the fall months, but then that's just wishing the year to pass faster...enjoy your evening

Cheryl, your page is so pretty! Glad you could get new glasses! It has just dropped from 78 degrees to 75. Comfortable now!! I did very little today. washed throw rugs in bathrooms. Dusted and sit with heating pad on my back! It throbbed today. Boyd got the wheel alignment done on Buick. After having work done on it last week, had to. Now a leak in the brakeline on old pickup!! Hi Cheryl. How are you coping with the heat? I hope the worst of it is almost over now for you. Thank goodness for air/cons and fans. Did you have a nice weekend? I imagine there were lots of celebrations and festivities during that time. We had rain during that time with temps in the 40’s but today that has cleared away and there was a frost last night with the sun now shining this morning. I hope you have a pleasant week.
